He plays basketball to take a break from things. Those things might be his therapy sessions, or his mother's phone calls, or the empty stretch of time growing longer on his résumé, or Tanner's birthday, or the past, or the conferences he isn't attending, or Abby's visits, or the broken door to the storage shed, or the future.

Sometimes he simply wants a break from all the words he's learned in psychotherapy. So he learns basketball lingo instead. Layup. Alley-oop pass. Jump shot. Field goal.

6. ποια βιβλία διάβασες τον τελευταίο μήνα; λοιπόν τελείωσα το Οι εργένηδες των λόφων του William Trevor, το οποίο ήταν συλλογή διηγημάτων. Ήταν αρκετά fun. Είναι ιρλανδική λογοτεχνία και το προτείνω ως subtle αφηγήσεις ειδικά σε όποι@ ενδιαφέρεται για την ιρλανδία. Επίσης διάβασα ξανά το δωμάτιο του Τζοβάνι του Baldwin ΚΑΛΥΤΕΡΟ ΒΙΒΛΙΟ ΣΕ ΟΛΟ ΤΟΝ ΚΟΣΜΟ ΠΡΑΓΜΑΤΙΚΑ. Και προσπαθώ να τελειώσω το Love Medicine της Louise Erdrich το οποίο είναι τόσο απίστευτα πανέμορφο στη γλώσσα του που μου παίρνει άπειρη ώρα να διαβάσω κάθε παράγραφο γιατί απλά θέλω να την διαβάζω ξανά και ξανά. αυτά <3

15. πρότεινε και γράψε κριτική για ένα βιβλίο. σε συνέχεια των από πάνω πηγαίνετε να διαβάσετε το δωμάτιο του Τζοβάνι. Πέρα από το πόσο συγκλονιστικά πανέμορφη είναι η γλώσσα του και πόσο ενδιαφέρον αφηγητής είναι ο Ντέιβιντ, είναι για μένα ένα βιβλίο το οποίο μπορεί να σε αλλάξει <3 είναι για το τι συμβαίνει όταν φοβάσαι να δείξεις θάρρος και ειλικρίνεια απέναντι στον εαυτό σου και τους άλλους. είναι απλά υπέροχο τι να πω.
