that's literally NOT how it works. the very wise and dashing duke of puzzles prepares challenges for the lightners to decipher and then they try to solve them. if they don't want to play his games in the first place, what's the point ?

a shiver runs down his spine, the wing kris is holding is getting clammier and clammier with sweat. perhaps, being the unfortunate fourth wheel of their friend group doesn't sound that lame anymore. where did noelle and susie go, again ?

At Berdly's insinstance to leave the other two alone, Kris at first leans over, giving the girls a look meant to quietly ask them if it was alright to leave them be... and recieving a tentative thumbs up from Susie and a VERY passionate nod from Noelle. Guess their job as third wheel and/or evil advisor... is already over...

They'll meet again when they'll open the next fountain. And hopefully Susie didn't manage to fumble while they were gone.

it seems they intend to visit the famed hometown ferris wheel, and he cannot blame them one bit. the view is breathtaking up there, or so he has heard. nobody has ever ridden one with him yet. still, while kris may not have been his first pick for such an occasion, but he must commend their initiative and choice of carnival ride.
