Alright, another question about Parasite Evil AU. Do we know the full list of Leon's mitochondrial powers? Are they only based on Aya's PE1 powers or is there also some from PE2? Because on one hand, it would make sense to use only PE1 powers, especially since Liberate is awesome, but on the other, Aya only had like... *checks notes* three abilities that were "offensive", excluding Liberate and Scan, and only one of them was an actual attack, the two others were debuffs.
Meanwhile, PE2 had about half offensive half defensive abilities, more offensive if you consider Lifedrain an attack. I can see why not, since PE2 doesn't happen, and Aya most likely spent the rest of her life (until captured) not using her abilities, so they might've gone dormant and she might never have developed them to this extent, but on the flip side, if we think of neo-mitochondria as something that transfers potential through the bloodline instead of the actual current "power level" (maybe kinda like midichlorians and the Force in SW), then Leon, a veteran agent who's been fighting BOWs for over a decade now could probably have no problem developing these abilities quickly. Also, pyrokinesis and electrokinesis are awesome and I think Leon deserves to have flaming fists and look absolutely badass. As a treat.
Also sorry if I'm annoying, but unfortunately, this AU has skyrocketed into one of my favourites and the ADHD demands more information.
It's so funny you asked me this because I was just looking into Aya's powers the other day to help get some ideas for this AU XD
Okay, so Leon can freeze, ignite, or shock any living organism near him, or use those same elements on himself to enhance his attacks, like creating a ball fire or pulse of electricity that shocks the ground around him.
He can also create an invisible barrier strong enough to stop bullets, use his powers to heal himself and others, and enhance his speed to make himself inhumanly fast for a few seconds. In his liberated form his powers are basically amplified, allowing him to fly and create an energy field that shields other living beings from Eve's influence/powers.
Also you don't have to worry about Leon's abilities taking too long to develop or being too weak, in fact Leon has to be careful and not push his limits or tap into his power too much either, because If he does his Liberated from will mutate and become more monstrous. (Kinda thinking it's looks similar to the Ultimate being's last form, from Parasite EVE 1.) ((ALSO LOVE The enthusiasm you have this AU! it doesn't bother me in the slightest, so don't worry!
