That Rough Night trailer has me all infuriated now.

When will sex workers stop being the target of violent jokes in main stream media? As if it isn’t DIFFICULT ENOUGH to hear of deaths in our actual community, only to have it displayed like it’s “super funny” in a movie trailer.

Fuck off Hollywood, seriously.

Do you even have a clue as to how many stories I’ve heard of my fellow strippers going MISSING because they happen to be sex workers?

Sure, you can work at the safest, most superbly monitored club in the world but that doesn’t stop angry customers from following you home or like the poor girl from the Midwest who was abducted after a late shift (because she was pretty, it was late, BAM BOOM they take her).

It’s fucking SAD.

It’s mortifying.

LIKE girls at my home club are still mourning the death of a beautiful soul whom was lost last fall and IT’s AWFUL to see the media joking about the death of sex workers.

I watched rough night last night and i just wanna say…ya all are dumbass…sorry fr ruining the movie plot..but the guy who was killed was not a sex worker of any sort…u went on a rant after watching a 2 min trailer..the movie was actually pretty fun..also the guy didn’t die cuz the girl was fat..he died cuz he hit his head while going down…so ya all need to keep ur extra sensitive asses in control sometimes

Except, originally the trailer actually said he was a stripper. Plus, regardless of the actual context of the film now, the points are still relevant. Don’t pretend like suddenly debunking the movie makes my “rant” about how our lives are important any less, oh you know, important.

The points are relevant..but not for this movie..i had pretty low expectations before watching it..but there is one thing that i learnt…trailers don’t tell shit about a movie..so, by no means i said that ur lives don’t matter…its a freaking movie..it does not define the value of a human life ,which is equally important no matter what you do.
