♛ This encounter had proven to be complicated. Not in a particularly negative way, but Gaia hadn't really expected a woman to suddenly start treating her like a doll. To be fair she had given permission when asked, though. "Erm... This is the third outfit. Did you say you have more?"

Every outfit had been black and vaguely frilly. They were certainly to Gaia's preferences, but getting changed over and over...

♛ Gaia was nicer than she looked. That was something she had been told in the past but she didn't exactly know how well that translated. To begin with, hearing that just made her think "Are you saying I look mean!?" which would likely have been a reaction that'd feed into her own insecurity on the subject.

This was relevant because she was internally debating disturbing someone who at least looked to be asleep underneath a tree with a book at their side along with other belongings nearby. Would it have been rude? But the sun had almost completely set...

"Tch." Mustering up the resolve, she crouched down beside them and gave them a very gentle tap on the shoulder.

♛ "Avenger... Avenger..." Gaia wasn't sure if she had any right to judge someone based on their name considering her own, but wasn't it rather odd? She was carrying a bag of baked goods down the street from the bakery she'd gotten them from with only the name and a brief description of this "Avenger's" appearance. Their orders have been mixed up.

♛ "What in the world is with that outfit? Do you think you're showing off enough of your chest?" Gaia had seen some questionable fashion decisions on the First and honestly his outfit wasn't that bad, but she was in a sour mood.

♛ Gaia would have said it was surprising that Ryne had zeroed in on her presence in the city as quickly as she had but she would have been lying to herself. Still, the comfort of knowing that the most important person to her was in the city was a relief. Gaia didn't have people she thought of like parents or anything and she was okay with that. Ryne was enough.

"Maze By Pixie Light? So this is what you picked, is it?" Apparently a festival had been going on in this strange place and despite having freshly arrived, Ryne seemed intent on taking Gaia to an event. She'd let her choose and it was a surprise up until they had arrived. "Lame. Isn't this an event aimed at couples? I looked at the description."
