Just a interesting thought that popped into my head.
We’ve seen a few things like in comics and movies, about our favourite horror icons either facing off or meeting each other. So with the movie ‘IT’ that came out last year, it got me wondering. Who has a chance to face off with Pennywise? I came up with a surprising answer.
Michael Myers. AKA The Shape.
Now, why not Jason?! Or Freddy?
Well, it’s quite simple actually.
They have a fear of something that’s basically their Kryptonite.
Jason has a fear of water. Not only that, he has this HUGE attachment with his mother that can be easily manipulated. Perhaps even a fear of displeasing her.
Freddy has a fear of fire. (Probably hell too) Plus, when he isn’t in control of something, he will freak out easily. Send him some zombie kid victims his way and he’ll be running the other way.
Leatherface is quite simple. He’s only human, so of course he has fears.
Chucky has his own fears too.
But Michael. Michael is something quite different. It’s said that he is the embodiment of Evil. He can’t feel pain. Very focused. And something almost supernatural. He has no fears. He has no ‘Kryptonite’. Well, except for his obsession of wanting to kill his sister.
Not saying he would win the fight, but out of all these guys, Michael is probably the one Pennywise should stay clear of just be be safe.
Also, I mean, he’s a clown and Michael has a ….. fascination of them, I guess. I mean, he murdered his other sister in a clown costume when he was a kid.
