the irony of purity culture is that in its inability to understand that nudity is not inherently sexual it forces sexuality onto everything and pornifies people and things for just existing. the immediate panic around anything nude erases the fact that things can be nude, intimate, even erotic, and nonsexual. things can also literally be nude, intimate, erotic, sexual, and STILL not porn. by trying to micromanage others sexuality you’re lowkey just admitting your ability to pornify anything and outting yourself as a freak

paul merroney is bisexual right. i know they're not going to go there in a 1970s bbc family drama but colin baker is absolutely playing him as bisexual. there's no way it was unintentional. right.
