“Rei…” Lee sighed and ran his fingers through his hair “You should’ve spoken to me sooner. To be honest, I’m kind of disheartened that you and Bryan aren’t friends anymore. As much as I felt uncomfortable about it, I was happy that you were making friends and stuff.” Lee paused. He wasn’t sure if he sounded condescending. He didn’t want to mother Rei.

“You mentioned that Kai’s going to visit Yuriy? Why don’t you spend the time that Kai’s away back here in China? I’ll be at work during the weekdays, but you’re more than welcome to stay here regardless. We can go back to visit the village, or just go for walks and stuff. We don’t have to busy ourselves all the time, I just think it’s a good idea if you relax, without having to worry about work, Yuriy, Kai, Bryan, or anything else that’s on your mind.”

Lee paused again, taking a sip of his drink before setting it back down on the coffee table and continuing.

“I do worry about you though, Rei. Russia seems like a weird place, and the Demolition Boys or Blitzkrieg Boys or whatever they’re calling themselves now-a-days being in such close proximity to you makes me a little uneasy. I’m always here for you, whatever you need. I’ll always listen to you, and you don’t have to feel alone.”

I’m alright, I was actually planning to head back to China anyway. I’ve sold my cars and moved into a small apartment, but pretty soon I think I’ll be packing up for good.

I sold them because the shipping costs from the UK to China are almost as much as the cars themselves! I’ve decided to just go back to riding motorbikes when I get back.
