So this was a mini project I thought I'd try out: my first swing at customizing a Switch controller. I kept it simple but still learned a lot; I'll eventually have to go back and sand down some areas and repaint. The paint reacted down at the bottom near the cross and I'm not sure what what happened (maybe too much paint or didn't let it dry long enough?) "Grief" Linocut on paper, each print is 11"×14" My final project for my printmaking class. This is one of my favorite project turnouts this semester; even though cutting out a contour drawing was a slow process it became rather therapeutic. ☺ The first picture is of the set, the next 3 are scans, and the last is the lino block I carved (I carved each piece separately.) The actual ink color is pewter, and it's difficult to catch on camera or scan but there is a slight shimmeryness to it. ❤ I will definitely need to get better frames with matting for it.
