Also known as Bjǫrn Járnsíða (Old Norse), Björn Járnsíða (Icelandic), Björn Järnsida (Swedish), Bjørn Jernside (Danish), Berno (Frankish sources) and Bier Costae Ferreae (Medieval Latin), the new King of Kattegat at Vikings series was, historically, said to have been the first ruler of Swedish Munsö dynasty and a legendary king of Sweden. He lived in the 9th century and his descendants supposedly ruled over the Swedes until c. 1060! (Source: Wikipedia)

In the series, our prince is portrayed as the firstborn son of Ragnar Lothbrok with his first wife Lagertha. However, the Tale of Ragnar’s Sons (Ragnarssona þáttr) - an Icelandic Fornaldar Saga from about the 14th century that combines a number of legendary and semi-historical themes - says he was a son of Ragnar and his wife Aslaug. And some sources even said he wasn’t the firstborn and was younger than his brother Ivar! Little historical discrepancies… What a surprise, not?

Historical or not, Björn is the only son of Ragnar Lothbrok that is present at the series literally since the first episode, being already with 12 to 13 years old at the first episode of season one (Rites of Passage) where he receives his armlet and becomes a man for the Viking Culture. At that point, Björn was portrayed by the young actor Nathan O'Toole that remained at the role until season two, when our beloved Alexander Ludwig assumed the character and comes carrying it on his shoulders until now.

In a beautiful time trip, we were able to see the actor growing old with the character and Björn went from a small arrogant boy to a great commander, a fully-grown man, father of a controversial number of sons (officially and unofficially) and a proven womanizer!

Be careful around him to not end up “Björnized” and let us receive our beloved prince and new King of Kattegat on our stage!

You weren’t sure how many shots you two drink in the back of taxi but by the time you reach the townhouse you’re barely able to walk. His kisses were scattered all down you body, leaving wet trails to the collar of your shirt then you were against the door panting as his hands gripped your ass and he growled. This man growled and everything inside of you stirred.

Fuck your roommate, you thought. Once you finally got the door opened it slammed against the wall and nothing but laughter could be heard from you two as he easily picked you up and slapped your ass. “Room?” He questions.

“Upstairs to the right.” And like that he’s off walking upstairs to the left and tossing you onto her bed. Ivar tosses your shirt to the floor and she scrambles up. “Oh fuck, there’s a person in your bed.” He snickers continuing to kiss you stomach.

“This isn’t her room!” She screeches. “Out!”

Fuck your age, put on your high heeled boots and a pair of overalls and do Meryl Streep proud.
