After meeting Ingrid, Tim was sure everything would be fine. She was a ray of light in his life. No more visions and dreams would torment him. But unfortunately, it was temporary. He couldn't escape his "madness." He doesn't know why he sees this snowy city and this huge, icy wall. He doesn't know why he feels fear because of what lies beyond the wall. And he doesn't know why he always sees him, Jacaerys Velaryon. He's always there, in his dreams, and he always loses him. He doesn't know him, but he feels like he's important. It's been driving him crazy his whole life. He's tried looking for him everywhere, but Jacaerys doesn't exist, at least not in this life. No one could help him, not his parents, not his doctors, not his girlfriend. He'd resigned himself to it, or so he thought. Until one day, it occurred to him that he could immerse himself in these visions/dreams completely, to finally figure everything out. And then he could let it go and live a normal life with the girl he loves. But that was a mistake. He shouldn't have done it. But now he doesn't know how to leave this world. He's needed here, he's important here, he's Cregan Stark, and here he is, his Jacaerys. He can't let him die. This time, he'll do it right. He leaves forever, leaving Ingrid behind, and immerses himself in the world where he belongs.
