"Good morning Giada." He smiled, not truly knowing if it was morning or not. He had woken up from a rather long night and made his driver take him straight to her. "I just wanted to chat. I also need to get a few pieces from you while I'm here. They're for Aspen I'm sure you have her measurements written down somewhere. I specifically need blue, maybe white, maybe some pink."

The restaurant was a favorite of hers, belonging to Violet. She had eaten there plenty of times before. Though there was a little unease when she was asked to meet with the don. Taking a seat, she gave him a nod, "I already did." She said as a waiter came and handed off a drink. "What is this about?"

"Do you already start business meetings getting straight down to business, relax enjoy your drink first." Dante laughed as he sat back in his chair, clearly having enjoyed a couple of drinks himself. "I just have something I need you to keep an eye on for me, in case it becomes an issue."

“ it’s not for shits and gigs ” he starts, knowing that arguing would be pointless. “ I mean - it’s a god damn fucking ferris wheel. Kids could’ve been on it, innocent people ” he stops, running a hand through his hair. “ I’m not allowed to be high, remember? Everyone will be up my fucking ass if I even try. ”

"Well in that case your little hero thing is super adorable. Putting your own life on the line to save others, isn't that cute?" Dante laughed clearly not finding it all that cute. "Freddie you're a grown man you can do whatever you want."

"Do you mean apart from the shambolic organisation of the carnival, the ferris wheel toppling over and my custom-made dress getting destroyed?" Eloise asks nonchalantly, pausing for effect. "Still a complete disaster, thank you for asking. Whose idea was it for us to all work this year? The booths are for poor people." Aware she might be complaining to the unamused, she moves the subject along. "Where did you end up, anyway?"

“Yes obviously besides all of those very minor inconveniences.” Dante laughed, rolling his eyes. It was amazing how little he care about her dress or her not wanting to work the booths but he was in a decent mood so he didn’t mention it. It was obvious she knew he wasn’t the person who’d care about her complaints. “I was busy,” he said offering no other explanation. In actual fact directly after the carnival he was home washing blood off himself but she didn’t need to know that. “You know me, always busy doing something scandalous.”

𝐖𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐈𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃'𝐕𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐑, but where was the fun in that? One day he'd eventually learn... despite saying this for years now. At least this time he wasn't the one to make a dig at Dante's dead boytoy, he was already six feet under, there was no need to drag him even further. But he did make shady comments at them nonetheless.

"Wolfie shut the fuck up. The way in which you lack any ability to shut your mouth for more then five seconds really needs to be studied. It's almost a talent at this point." Dante rambled, still pulling Wolfie to the outskirts of the carnival. In all honestly he didn't give a shit who saw them but with the amount of children roaming around it just wasn't worth the potential public indecency charge. It likely wouldn't show up on his record but a trip to jail was never convenient.

"This is why we'll work so well together." She concluded, an obvious smirk gracing her features as she led them towards the booth. If Dante was the head of the Serpents then Giada was now the neck, and the neck not only supported the head, but could get it to turn — even if only slightly, and in small calculated steps, like for the duration of smashing dinner plates. "Now, I think it's about time we break some hearts."

Dante knew before he offered her the position that they would work well together, in fact she was likely one of the only members of the council he could see himself working well with besides his sister. Nepotism already got him into the role of Don, appointing his sister as he second might have been a step too far. "Hmm an activity I'm sure you're more than used to."
