A painter who could no longer put brush to canvas, and walked away from his studio without a second thought.
A witch named BIBI, who flew into an unfamiliar world in search of a new broom for her collection.
Witch BIBI is the story of their journey, unfolding in a beautiful small town in South Korea.
🎨 The Painter: An art exhibition is coming soon. He needs to choose a theme and select the main piece, but nothing feels right. What has he been painting all this time? Doubt creeps in. Feeling restless, he leaves his studio with no destination in mind. Finding himself at the train station without a plan, he buys a ticket for the earliest departure. Sitting on the train, waiting for it to leave, he gazes out the window and feels a bit lighter. But then... the foreign woman sitting across from him. Something about her seems a little strange.
🧙 The Witch: A witch on vacation in another world. She has a hobby of collecting brooms. Her most treasured ones are magically shrunk and worn as keychains, dangling from her bag wherever she goes. In this magic-less world, using noticeable magic is strictly forbidden. The language barrier doesn’t help either, and having to transfer between trains and buses is exhausting. But there‘s one reason she endures all this inconvenience: the brooms used by South Korea’s street cleaners. A smooth handle with fluorescent plastic bristles—have I ever seen a broom this cool? Absolutely not, she‘s certain. Just imagining herself flying through the sky on one of these brooms fills her with joy. After much searching, she discovered that these brooms are made in a small rural village in South Korea. But now she wonders—can she really find it on her own?
