A sampling of my work

This organization want to capture a 40 year legacy through music and pics. Audio was simply captured by an iphone and mixed into the presentation. Unlike an original version which was played for a fundraiser, this is my adapted version.

The act of helping young lives ripples throughout the decades. Seattle's YouthCare provides a path for homeless youth to build a future.

This is a promotional video for the Everett Clinic's Behavioral Health Clinic. The pace is slow and reflective. The lone man sitting alone and walking away from the camera along a Lake Washington pier is used to reflect the feeling of isolation that many people suffering with mental illness have. The video is a mix of warmly lit interviews and purposely cool and muted supporting footage.

This piece showcases Seattle's Fare Start culinary training restaurant. Top chefs in the city volunteer their time and talents to help train recovering drug addicts and released prisoners in the skills needed in the restaurant industry. This is an example of telling the big picture of the goals and accomplishments of the program through the story of those who have changed their lives because of it. Shooting was mostly hand held and dynamic to reflect the frenzy that is in any restaurant kitchen.

I was director of photography for this multiple camera, three location shoot for Scripps Networks Interactive. The idea was to create a dynamic profile of Skillet owner Josh Henderson and his use of the Capital One Sparks card in his business. The style was created to complement the Food Network and the Cooking Channel where the spots would be broadcast.
