Funny thing, a lot of my changes have been really gradual other than my voice drop.
Hair-wise I am still waiting on my singular chin hair to become a collection of chin hairs. I noticed that starting about two weeks ago, my arm hair has slowly started to change. I have one really long, dark hair on my left forearm and the rest are mostly the same as always. Just lightish brown where they used to be whiteish blonde.
Also, my thighs are getting some hair finally. I have glorious patches of long, thick, dark hair that are exclusive to the backs of both thighs only.
Other than my belly getting hairier, that's about the only thing Ive noticed in the past several weeks.
I am praying to the gods of men for more facial hairs as always.
114 days on testosterone therapy and my mug looks a lil different now.
116 days (16 weeks, 4 days)
First of all, Iâm going to be talking about the weird shit thats been happening in my pants. So, if you dont want to read about my junk, donât. If youâre family, Iâd advise against further reading because thatâs real awkward.
Happy 100 days on testosterone injections to me

While I expect my hairline to change and "masculinize", I was not prepared for how quickly my hair would start thinning at my temples. Though, I really should say temple because it's only happening on the left side. What to heck.

Day 46
I had my 4th shot 3 days ago. So far, I have recruited 3 different friends to help give me my shot. As much as I want and need this injection, I cannot bring myself to self-administer them. Like, I should probably talk to my Endocrinologist about switching to Androgel or something, but that requires a lot of work and could end up costing me a lot more.Â
~The struggles of being a lazy, non wealthy twenty something in a first world country~
I am so incredibly grateful to be as privileged as I am with being able to start hormone therapy. And equally as grateful for having such an incredible support system. A lot of my friends are very excited for me and put up with a lot of ridiculous requests such as, " Look at all this fucking leg hair!" and " Hey, look at my lil baby hairs on my lip" or the always present " Does my voice sound lower? I think it sounds lower. Play that video with me speaking in it again"Â
Anyway, here is a 1.5ish month update on stuff
Some things I've recently noticed:
My hairline looks a little more squared off. Mostly only noticeable to me. But maybe only because I shaved my head.
Not as oily as I was the first month.
No more acne. Its like I'm back to status quo in that department
A few hairs on my chin have turned dark but have yet to thicken
My barely there mustache hairs are akin to a 12 year old Hispanic boy. Maybe that is where my 1/4 Mexican heritage has decided to show itself.
My appetite has slowed down significantly. I get full more quickly and stay full longer than before starting testosterone.Â
All of my muscles have become more intense. Without a work out routine, I've gained strength and muscle definition. Most noticeably in my arms and core.
I think I have officially escaped the awful demon hellfire that is menstruation for good.Â
Also, a weird thing - my tears are now, like, huge. I do not normally cry often, but when I did last I was really surprised to have these ridiculously big drops falling out of my face.
My voice cracks so damn often. Like, easily every two sentences I speak, the cracks will make an appearance.Â
Me: *Does absolutely nothing to deserve a treat for myself*
Me: You know what? I deserve to treat myself
Always
Today's stinky armpits and sweaty ass crack is brought to you by the letter T.

35 days and too many shadows
Day 35
Day before shot of t: 0 pull ups Day after shot of t: 5 pull ups Starting testosterone therapy did not, nor will, solve all my problems but it sure as shit makes me feel a whole lot better about my body.
4 weeks
A month ago I kept thinking about how long and dreadful the upcoming 4 weeks were going to be. Like, having to wait 31 increments of 24 hours to even have a slightly significant time on testosterone under my belt seemed like forever. I realized a couple days ago that I was coming up on one month and I had totally lost track of the days. Though, working 55 - 60 hour weeks will do that to me.Â
