Let's say we want the door on the side under the eaves. These eaves are sitting pretty low over the door, and while we obviously can't help the door height itself, personally I like having at least 3 blocks of standing room in all other places. So this feels a bit cramped.

To solve that, we can install a dormer so the door has some extra vertical clearance. This is, of course, very similar to the dormer windows from ROOF202.

Leave three blocks over the doorway for the dormer.

Place a whole block on either side, and a half block above, just like the dormer window.

Extend the half block out, and place a stair block facing out on either side.
