These are photos we took on our nice camera a while back. The Artesanas were giving a charla on how to carve jicaro (top left photo) and make bracelets (top right photo). Lidieth, president of the group, is cutting open the jicaro to remove the insides, getting it ready to dry (bottom photo). 

Going through photos on our computer...This is the Volunteer Advisory Council that Dan is president of! Every volunteer lives in a different region in the country and works to improve Peace Corps Costa Rica for a year of their service.

For the Northwestern Kellogg MBA application, there is a video interview component. In order to do it, you need to have a fast internet connection. I tried three different places on the island to finally get a good enough connection!
