The Claddagh’s distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart surmounted by a crown. These elements symbolize the qualities of friendship (the hands): “You are my best friend”, love (the heart): “And the love of my life”, and loyalty (the crown): “I don’t know how much time we have left, but however much it is I wanna spend it with you”.
