This mod was ported with permission from VirusZ. Color map with Bobblehead, Power Armor, Settlement and Fast Travel Locations marked for you in color coded icons. Yes it's a little cheaty but at this point who hasn't played the game 3748 times? If you want a nicer looking map without the cheaty icons there is another mod hosted by Ray1 called Color Map Version X.

Using ini files for Xbox Mods
Did you know you could include ini files for Xbox mods? I had no idea before today. I had a request to port a pipboy map mod from Nexus to Bethnet and I thought sure, why not. Problem is it needs some ini tweaks to turnoff Pipboy FX and adjust brightness. So I asked around and got this useful information from Arthmoor and Oddlittleturtle.Â
Arthmoor confirmed it could be done, you just create an ini file with only the settings you want to change in your Data directory and name it the same as the esp file. So basically modname.ini.
Oddlittleturtle had some additional important information to note: first that xbox users must fully exit the game and reload after installing the mod so that the changes will work. Second that if two mods alter the same setting, whichever loads last has the winning ini file. So make sure you tell your users exactly what settings you’re changing and pass along this info in your mod page.
Oops Blog Reset
Always save your backup codes! I had to factory reset my phone and as a result lost access to my previous Tumbler blog due to 2 factor authentication and not having my backup codes saved. So I’ll copy the content from my original blog over to here and start over. >.<
