I am Dalia . i am a mother from gaza .

When the war began, I was six months pregnant with my second child. We were trapped in the northern part of Gaza, surrounded by the relentless conflict, with no access to clean water or proper food.

In the early hours of a January night, labor pains struck. The Israeli bombardment outside made it impossible for me to reach the hospital, so I was forced to give birth at home, alone, under unimaginable conditions. But by the grace of God, we survived. The next morning, we made it to the hospital. Thankfully, the baby was healthy, and I was saved from the risk of severe bleeding.

We lost our small home and my husband’s factory. I lost my job, and our car was damaged beyond repair. Now, we have nothing left.

We’ve lost our family, our friends, and our beautiful city in this brutal war. We remain in northern Gaza, struggling to survive on humanitarian aid—rice, pasta, and bread. There are no vegetables, no meat. Our three-year-old daughter, Lilian, is suffering from the psychological impact of the war.
