﹙．✬﹒the friend group

As you guys have seen in previous posts, my friend group consists of me, Albedo, Sucrose, Lyney, Lynette, Ajax, Scara and Yoimiya. This post is about knowing the group better !! There’s no hierarchy or set “leader” of the group, unlike a lot of groups in my cr (coughs). We’re all equals and we all are literally the healthiest friend group ever. We’re also all juniors except Ajax who’s a senior (unc)

﹙．✬﹒me !!

I was one of the originals in the friend group (og frfr) and my birthday is January 26th 2007. Im the same ethnicity as my cr and I don’t speak any languages fluently. I only understand both French and Korean. I study Chemistry, Biology, French, Fashion and Drama. My best subjects are French and Drama! I am a high scoring student, but not as top scoring as my trusty friend (and nerd /aff) albedo.

I’m a member of both the Drama club and the Glee club (glee reference) and I love being in both! All of the group come to see both mine and Lyney’s shows since we’re both in the Drama club. I considered signing up for the netball team but I didn’t bother because both Drama and Glee club were already taking up most of my after school schedule.

Albedo is one of my childhood friends! His birthday is September 13th 2006 (set in 2024) and he’s in the same year as me in school. In my dr my whole friend group (minus Ajax) are in the middle of Junior year. Wowow he’s Icelandic by ethnicity and he knows basic Icelandic; the kind where he understands what people say but doesn’t get the meanings. He was actually my first friend upon moving to the US when we were both 7. As a child, we had our own little friend group of me, Albedo, his older brother Dorian and my Sister. We were both 7, my sister was 14 and Dorian was 11. In this dr, durin is his cousin who’s in the middle school part of Decelis Academy.

The subjects that albedo takes are Chemistry, Biology, Latin, Art and History! We share a lot of classes like Bio, Chem, Maths and English. We’re literally in close proximity all the damn time..we’re literally neighbours and he lives across the street. He’s a member of the student council, more specifically the treasurer.

Sucrose is another member of the group, born November 26th 2006. She’s one of the older members of the group, the third oldest to be exact. She’s german by ethnicity and speaks it fluently! She’s pretty shy and awkward around strangers, but is a genuine sweetheart once she opens up. She tends to talk about things she’s interested in, like scrap-booking, journaling and Biochem.

She studies Biology, Chemistry, RPE, Latin, Psychology. We share Chem, Bio and English classes. She really likes the subjects she takes, and is one of the top Bio students in the whole year, which is lowkey insane if you think about it. She’s a member of the both the Gardening club and the Book club. The library and the school garden are her second homes when she’s not with us.

Lyney is both February 2nd 2007, his twin being Lynette! He’s French by ethnicity and speaks it fluently at home and at school with Lynette and Fremi. He also has a brother, Freminet, who is in freshman year. His guardian is Arlecchino/Peruere who also looks after Fremi and Lynette and they all live together as a family.

Lyney studies Astronomy, Biology, French, Fashion and Drama; we literally share all classes except Astronomy, English and Maths. He’s also a fellow member of the Drama club and he’s been in the club since freshman year of high school, which is when we met. He’s a crazy good actor, obviously and has won literal school awards for his acting. Lyney is also a part of the student council, taking the role of Artistic Director.

﹙．✬﹒lynette baudelaire

Lynette is also both February 2nd 2007, his twin being Lyney! She’s also French by ethnicity and speaks it fluently at home and at school with Lyney and Fremi. She has a few ear piercings and has cat pins on her bags at all times, it’s literally the cutest thing ever.

She studies Bio, Chem, Film studies, Greek and Geography. She wanted to study Drama as well, but she settled with being a member of the Drama club instead, which is where we also met alongside Lyney. We share a Bio and Chem class. Lynette tends to lean into the costume and set design side of theatre, more the costumes side. She doesn’t like the technical side of theatre since she’s not good at it. She once turned off all the set lights during a rehearsal and it took 15 minutes to get them back on.

﹙．✬﹒ajax

Ajax is the oldest in the friend group surprisingly..he’s a year above all of us, born July 20th 2006. He’s also Ukrainian and is fluent in the language!! His surname is a literal mystery to us all somehow, which has ended up becoming a running joke. He was firstly the cool upperclassman we all thought was super cool but then he became a part of the friend group after a fight broke out in freshman year and he covered for us (because some of us are instigators..cough cough scara). Since he’s a senior, he obviously has other plans outside of school, but he’s a gatekeeper and won’t tell us, but he’s still staying in the state because he loves us sm trust!!

Ajax studies Physics, Astronomy, Food tech, Spanish and Geography, and is lowk barely passing astronomy but it’s okay. He’s genuinely the type to have the messiest school bag ever and be the most disorganised individual in the world but still passing all his subjects. He’s especially good at Food tech and when we hang out as a group he brings us food..it’s so good he’s literally the mother of the group. He’s a member of the Basketball club, and we obviously go to his games all the time. He’s also popular which is pretty crazy.

﹙．✬﹒scara raiden

Scara is another og of the group, who Albedo and I met in middle school. He’s born January 3rd 2007 and he’s Japanese by ethnicity and knows the language fluently considering both his parents are Japanese. In my dr his parents are eimiko heh…he has two mums happy pride month!1! The og group is me, albedo and scara and it formed in middle school. His first name is Kunikuzushi, but the whole group tends to refer to him by his middle name, which is Scaramouche/Scara.

He studies Chemistry, Physics, RPE, History and French. For some reason he refused to take Japanese despite the fact he’s literally fluent, taking French instead. I share Maths, English, French and Chem classes with him. He’s literally one of those students who refuses to share his notes with the rest of the group. It’s a privilege to even take a peek at what he writes during class. He is a very nice guy once you get to know him though. He’s also not in any clubs, but frequents the debate club just to watch it.

Yoimiya is the youngest member of the group, born June 21st 2007. She’s japanese by ethnicity, with roots in both Okinawa and Osaka. She’s such a bubbly and sweet person to be around, and her dad owns a fireworks shop. She’s fluent in both Japanese and Sign language for both Japanese and American sign language.

She studies Biology, Astronomy, Film studies, Japanese and Art. We share both Biology and English classes! She’s also a member of both the Volleyball club and the Astronomy club and we always go to her volleyball games as a group. People probably find us so irritating since we cheer the loudest for the school’s team. She plays the role of a libero.

Hihi !! i don’t have any group drs but i will tell you about my genshin one before my post to do with it soon !! My genshin dr is so cool hold on let me yap..

So basically, in my genshin dr, i’m still called Dalia Belrose. I’m the daughter of a descender and i hold both cryo and hydro powers without a vision. My mother was from the honkai universe and is a pseudo herrscher (however i haven’t decided which herrscher yet). In addition, she came to teyvat during the time that Khaenriah was still a nation and that’s where she met my father and etc. My parents are both still alive to this day (obviously) and they had me in their mid twenties after getting married (my dad took my mother’s surname for reasons i will not reveal YET). That’s just a small summary of my parents.

In terms of me, I mainly grew up in Fontaine! I primarily stayed with my mum’s friend who owned a restaurant there. I was a super huge nerd when it came to mechanics, chemistry and mechanical engineering, since that’s some of the many things my mum was well known for. I grew up to become a well known inventor and I have a whole collection of trinkets and stuff that I’ve personally made and invented! Around when I was 18, I moved to Mondstadt. That’s where I met my cousin (Kaeya) and my s/o Albedo!!

In my dr, I’m in a relationship with Albedo. We initially met when I stumbled upon his workshop whilst strolling through Dragonspine. We’re both crazily socially awkward so it was a very embarrassing first impression, however we did end up warming up to each other since he literally knew who I was upon first meeting, he just didn’t say anything. We do share a house, however we are usually in our own respective workshops most of the time. Our house is either for sleeping or when we wanna hang out and just sit and enjoy the comfortable silence.

Moving onto my last point, I do travel with Lumine! Even if I don’t join her and Paimon initially, I always catch up in some way. We first met when she arrived in Mondstadt, and we immediately clicked since we had quite a few similarities in terms of powers. She’s my closest friend and such a sweetheart I love her so much and we tell each other everything. Another close friend of mine is Kaeya, considering the fact we’re cousins on both our father’s sides. Unfortunately, my dad also has no clue as to where his father has gone so that’s a bummer. Kaeya and I do get on well, we’re like little gossip buddies. I sometimes join him when he goes to taverns, but I tend to order lighter drinks.

In my modern genshin dr, my full name is Dalia Aerilyn Belrose. I’m 16 years old and my birthday is January 26th 2007 !! My dr is set in June 2023. I was born in the UK, specifically in Camden, West London before living in Westminster for most of my early childhood. As of currently, we now live in Sherman Oaks, California. My mother, older sister and I have been living there since we moved to the US in 2014 (I was 7, my sister was 14). My mother is an actress by the name of Yazmin Belrose, who was mainly famous in the 1990s and the 2000s, but is still famous and still acts to this day. She starred in films such as Scream 1996, Clueless, High School Musical, mean girls and more. She’s also guest acted in series such as Pretty Little Liars, Glee, Wizards of Waverley place, Yellowjackets and more. She’s a pretty big figure in the acting industry and her most recent film is The School for Good and Evil. She just finished filming Yellowjackets season 2 in February and the airing of the show finished in May.

Aside from my mother, I also have an older sister; Estelle (Stella) Belrose. She was born January 1st 2000 and is currently a model. She travels quite a bit for work, the work either being in the US, South Korea, France or the UK. She’s semi-well known but has only been modelling for about a year. She studied Fashion Design in University so that’s where her talent mainly lies but she started modelling her own work which grabbed the attention of a modelling agency.

In terms of school, I attend a school called Decelis Academy (stole the name from enhypen lol). It has both a high school and middle school and they’re on different sites but share the same sports facilities. I attend the high school however it does have a uniform. Decelis Academy was founded in the 80s, and looks more like a private school than a normal state one. However, it’s extremely easy to get into, if you’re willing to make your child wear a uniform. It has a number of facilities, such as a library, garden and huge sports fields. In addition, there are a number of clubs, such as dance, astronomy, choir, debate, tennis and dozens more.

As of the time I’m shifting to (June 2023), we’re just about to finish our sophomore year of high school. We legit have like one more week to go until schools out for the summer. In school, we have 7 mandatory subjects: Maths, English language and literature, at least 2 (natural) sciences, PE and at least one language. The languages you can pick from are French, Spanish, Japanese, Latin and Greek. The sciences you can pick from are Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Astronomy. In terms of Electives, you can pick anything from Geography, History, Psychology, Art, Film Studies, Drama/Theatre, Food Tech, Fashion, and RPE. For me, I study Chem, Bio, French, Fashion and Drama!

My friend group consists of me, Albedo, Sucrose, Lyney, Lynette, Ajax, Scara and Yoimiya. The oldest in the front group is Ajax, who’s in the grade above all of us, whilst the youngest is Yoimiya, since she’s born the latest. I met most of them in middle school, but met Scara and Yoimiya in freshman year of high school. We all get along super well, with occasional silly rivalry and stupidity. We all share at least one class, except Ajax obviously, so we meet up at lunch at our (very special) table. I’ll go into more detail about my friend group and classes and etc however i’ll stop here !!
