CHARLIE: I REALLY don't think that vasectomy analogy was needed but okay... CHARLIE: Like it was very visceral. Apt, but visceral nonetheless CHARLIE: I'm a big boy, I don't need you to hold my hand đ¤ CHARLIE: But if, hypothetically, I was to get a tattoo, I wouldn't say no to you coming along. Y'know just for fun or whatever. Make sure they're not fucking it up. CHARLIE: I don't know what I'd even get tho... I just think I'd look hot with a tattoo. I should not be allowed to make decisions like this, these are ADULT decisions Kodi
Kodi: Hey, it got my point across - medical advancements have made shit not as permanent as they once were. They have lasers to remove tattoos these days. Kodi: Uh-huh. Sure. A big boy. Even though I'm sure I can bench more than you. Kodi: Oh yeah, don't worry... They'll have to face my fury if they fuck it up. Kodi: I mean, you could make it something meaningful. A quote that resonates with you. Something with the trans flag colors - kind of the heart I got on the back of my palm - or, I don't know, an animal you like? Kodi: But if you need another reason to get one, just think about how it'll piss off your dad if you got your tattoo.
đąCHARLIE -> KODI
CHARLIE: I'm having that tattoo crisis again... CHARLIE: Because I know I'd look hot with one but like... what if I hate it by next week??? CHARLIE: I may not be the smartest pre-doctor, but I do know that tattoos = permanent @dakodihummel
Kodi: You know every time that you say this, my response is always "yes", right? Kodi: And they aren't as permanent as they once were, dude. Just like vasectomy's aren't as permanent either - snip snap snip snap. Kodi: But seriously, if you want to, go for it dude. You know I'll be there to hold your hand if the pain is too much ;)
casey gardner + outfits (season two)
What is it with people and getting upset at others for shit that's out of their control? Like, I get it, your favorite item is out of stock but that doesn't give you the right to be an asshole to the cashier that gets paid a minimum wage to serve ungrateful dickheads on a daily basis. I swear, some people should work retail at least for a month so that they can have a better appreciation for those in the service industry. Maybe it might help make the world just a little bit of a better place.
Sorry... I know this is supposed to be like my introduction post or whatever but I just had to get that off my chest. Shit like that bothers the hell out of me. Anyway, for those that don't know, name's Dakota but I typically go by Kodi - don't worry, won't beat you over the head if you decide to call me Dakota. I will, however, hit you if you decide to be a dickhead and belittle and bully people for being themselves. That shit doesn't sit right with me.
Oh, and just an fyi, I go by they/them pronouns, so don't misgender me. Thanks.

I hear introductions are a common thing, for this so... for those who don't know, I'm Bonnie, I like art, vibes, and pretty people.
Now that, that's out of the way: I need volunteers. Have to be willing to get a little dirty. Paint dirty, well... clay comes with knowing me so... maybe some of that. Point is, I have an idea and I need extra hands. I will compensate you in free booze and food. Maybe kisses, if you're into that, I'm flexible.
What kind of vibes are you talking about? Because I need to know if I pass the vibe-check or not...
But I could be game, just have to answer a few questions. What kind of booze? What kind of food? And what kind of kisses? But hey, I'm all for supporting people and their passions so consider me a willing volunteer. I'm also no stranger to dirt or grime, either - used to help my dad out around his shop a few times back in high school, so I don't shy away from getting my hands dirty.
I like glitter as much as the next former Baby Gayâ˘, but I've made a terrible mistake that not even my all hardwood floors can spare me from the consequences of my actions. I don't even think moving will help at this point. Taking suggestions, begging for help, etc.
Completely unrelated, but if anyone wants to buy a one of a kind Kurt Hummel original denim jacket that is both eye catching and will leave people thinking about you for weeks as they vacuum for the fiftieth time, text me. I'm feeling generous.
You'd think someone would learn from the first time that they dabbled in glitter that it would be a disaster, but alas...
Don't look at me, though, Kurt. My closet still hasn't recovered from the last time you pawned off one of your glittered pieces of clothing on me. Hopefully you can find some other lucky soul.
hi friends, i've been off campus for most of the summer visiting friends overseas but i'm glad to be back in town finally starting my sophomore year! it's been slow going since i'm only a part-time student, but i'm honestly really looking forward to starting the new year. enough about me, what did i miss? how is everyone? i'd love to hear from you guys, stay kind x
Don't know about what you might have missed, but I personally increased my ELO on League so I'm pretty jazzed about that shit.
Good to see you though, dude. You enjoy your time overseas? And more importantly... you bring me back anything?
"The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated." In fact, I am back in town and better than ever. Thirty, flirty, thriving, newly single, and half a marriage richer than ever before. I'll be working in the admissions office for the foreseeable future and it's nice to be back among familiar faces after having been away for so long. All I need is to be pointed in the direction of the nearest bookstore and I'll be all set - what can I expect from the incoming class here at PSU? If you have the tea, you are legally obligated to spill it now.
Damn. That has to feel good. To know you've made it to the point where you've got death rumors circling about you. That's pretty badass.
Congrats on the divorce, though, I guess? If you're happy about that, though. I can't really tell you any tea, but I can tell you about the bookstores around here. I know most of 'em like the back of my hand.
Read somewhere that we're supposed to be doing introductions, or whatever, but I suck at them, so that's not what you're gonna get. The name's Amari Rutherford and that's what's important, let's be real.
Anyway. Kind of annoyed because when I was playing Overwatch 2 earlier, I literally kept dying every two minutes. You know what that is? Fucking embarrassing. Anyway (again), @ everyone: I have a show Friday night, 8PM at The Rendition Room (as always), so be there or be a loser. I don't know, man. It's up to you.
I don't know about that... I think more things than just your name are important, 'cause they're what make up you, y'know?
But big oof. I hate those days when I'm feeling like playing video games but I just keep getting slaughtered... It's like the universe is trying to tell you that today's just not your day or something and it sucks - especially when you're just trying to game to wash away the rest of the day. Hopefully you'll get better matches tomorrow. Or better yet, let me play with you and I'll help guarantee that dub.
What kind of show, though? You got me curious.

A series of three books that follows the lives of three best friends as they navigate high school and everything that comes with it - harder classes, impending college applications and imperative test scores, changing bodies and increasing hormones and, of course, boys. With a promise that the three main characters make to one another to remain best friends no matter what happens, the trio of friends - Zoe, Krystal and Vanessa - learn how to balance their friendships and the increasing demands of high school.
Each book follows the point of view of one of the characters - Zoe, a Japanese-American being raised by a single father after the tragic death of her mother a few months prior to the bookâs start, starts the series off and introduces us to a myriad of characters including the handsome Jasper and the charming Dylan. In the second book, we follow Krystal as she navigates the dating scene after having become a cheerleader in the previous book and finds love in a surprising place - with fellow cheerleader April and book three follows Vanessa, a girl a bit skeptical to finding love in high school that finds herself getting wooed by the devilishly handsome Zion.
The series ran on the NY Times Bestseller list for a collective 63 weeks, with many applauding the way that the series blends teenage angst with tough topics that kids of today face - including transphobia, racism, micro-aggressions, classism, and more - although many conservative reviewers often write that this book is obviously pushing the âliberal agendaâ and attempts to âbrainwash our kidsâ.
It was announced in June of 2024 on the facebook page of El Z. Abeth, the author, that they were currently in discussion with Netflix to turn the books into a series. This has prompted a lot of fans to post their "fancasts" of who they think should be cast in the roles of the main characters, and many are waiting to see whether the negotiations with Netflix will take root and they'll get to see this series show up on their screens one day... and if the company will do it justice.

ABOUT DAKOTA
If thereâs one thing that Dakota had been able to tell growing up, itâs that the world is fucked and everyone needed to be nicer to each other. Even as a little kid in elementary school, Dakota would watch as kids would bully others that they would view as âotherâ just because they were different, and that was something that they didnât like â and Dakota was definitely a target for them. It wasnât because they were an easy target, per se, but with their mother having died before they even really had a chance to know her and two brothers that were marginally older than them, other kids had ammunition to use against them. Luckily, though, Dakota wasnât afraid to stand up for themselves. Seeing their older brother be unapologetically him, as well as having a supportive â if confused â father behind them, they were able to stand up for themselves. And it helped that their father wasnât afraid letting them learn how to defend themselves as a kid, enrolling in karate lessons. Quickly, kids began to know not to mess with Dakota but they werenât happy with that. No, instead Dakota used this to be able to stand up for the other kids and they quickly became known as a âbully busterâ, so to speak, and that most of the bullies knew not to do anything unless they were prepared for Dakota to come to them.
Of course, they werenât completely immune to bullying, especially when they eventually came out as genderqueer, but they shrugged it off. If anyone couldnât handle who they were, then they didnât deserve to be in their life and if anyone had a problem with people living life as who they were â and they werenât hurting anyone? Then fuck them. They were the problem, not Dakota. But while the bullying didnât bother them, what did bother them was the idea of dating⌠or, really, it didnât bother them so much as it scared them. They were confident in their appearance, sure, and they thought that they were attractive, but they couldnât help but wonder⌠were they good enough? They were worried that they were too masculine for lesbians and too feminine for straight girls, so instead of facing that rejection⌠they hid behind their notebooks and decided to get their romance in through their writing.
What they didnât expect, though, was for their notebook to get read by a friend and immediately applauded for the writing and given a comment of âyou should write a book, youâre so good!â. Never before had they thought about becoming a writer â they loved books and reading, but they had always envisioned getting a job in politics or law, to help protect those that canât protect themselves⌠but why couldnât they do both? Going to their father, Dakota expressed interest in writing a book and with their fatherâs support, they went back to their writing and focused on a concrete plot and story⌠and the first book of their three-part series, The Courtyard Promise, was released when they were nineteen years old, thanks to their fatherâs support and their agent able to find them a publisher that was willing to let them publish under a pseudonym of âEl Z. Abethâ, in homage of the mother that they didnât know.
After two more books, finishing the trilogy, and a potential deal from Netflix to turn their series into a tv show, Dakota decided that it was time to get back to what they were good at â helping others. They had their own money that they would be able to use to fund their political career, if they so choose, or to put them through law school, but they would need to learn more about politics and how to play the part because as of now, what you saw with them was what you got and they needed to know how to interact with those that they vehemently disagreed with â as they were sure that was something that theyâd wind up coming across in either case. Deciding to attend Pacific State, thanks to their fatherâs status as a celebrity, they enrolled into the school with a major in Political Science â but a minor in Creative Writing⌠just in case they decided to dive back into their books.
Now a sophomore at the school, Dakota wants to actually try to date. They still have the same worries that they did in high school, but this isnât high school⌠this is college and itâs 2024⌠people are more fluid than they were even five years ago. Theyâd be able to find at least someone that would be interested in them⌠right?
FAMILY BACKGROUND
cancer tw, death tw
Burt Hummel comes from a humble beginning, and really never had any intentions of becoming famous. Working for his fatherâs garage, Hummel Tires & Lube, he developed an interest in cars, and proved to be pretty damn good at what he did. A twist of fate saw him approached to help out with some behind-the-scenes things for Top Gear by a customer who happened to work on the show. This opportunity led to yet another, even bigger twist of fate, with Burt meeting the woman he would go on to marry, up-and-coming actress, Elizabeth Blake.
As the two grew together, so did their respective careers; Elizabeth booked bigger and bigger acting gigs until she was a household name, while Burt, whose stint on Top Gear showed him to be a natural in front of the camera, was propelled into a life of presenting for various television shows. They relocated to Los Angeles, and their fame began to grow, along with their family, until Elizabeth eventually got sick in the late-noughties, then lost a quick but mighty battle with cancer. Burt took a break from the limelight following his wifeâs passing, opening a new Hummel Tires & Lube location in LA, before deciding to go back to presenting a few years later.
Now, Burt presents on Top Gear, where he got his real start, and also hosts a talk show, The Late Show with Burt Hummel, where he interviews celebrity guests and is often praised for his ability to entertain the audience with his dry humor and build a quick rapport with his guests. While he never dated anybody seriously since losing Elizabeth, Burt has recently begun dating Carole Hudson, but theyâre not ready to make things public just yet.
