Starting on the drive to take the Tabby Triplets and Lil Mama to their new homes tomorrow. It's bittersweet because, like yeah, they're a lot of work and money, but I raised them. They all run up to me, mew, cuddle, and whatnot so emotionally I don't want to.
However, I am rational and I know this is for the best. I cannot afford that many cats, and if I kept them all then brought my cats from AZ over, it would be a hoarding situation. They'll get pampered and a lot more 1 on 1 attention with my friend and her son.
I just hate they'll be far away and that I won't be able to see them often now that I'm on the East coast. I can see them when I snowbird/visit, but that won't be able to happen until I get a remote job. And Blondie may be picked up by our family friend while I'm out that way, so I might not be able to say goodbye. He'll also be far away and I might only be able to see him once a year //WEEPS
Since it's just the 4 kittens (Blondie, Runt, Hugo, and Thistle are at my folks while I'm gone), I think I'll let them sleep with me tonight so I can give them extra love.
