I find it so funny how they’re always in crowded places and yet it’s so rare for us to get any photos of them, or they only come out a long time later.

So, that question is a bit personal because some people “hate” him for different reasons.

Personally, I don't have anything against him, but I'm not a fan either.

But what I hear a lot is people complaining about a few specific things, which are: he makes clueless comments. Like, he’s inappropriate, and sometimes he leaks things that shouldn't be leaked, plus he’s really invasive.

So, those are the reasons why I see people disliking him.

I could be wrong, and if there are other answers out there, I’m looking forward to hearing you guys' opinions, but those are the main points I see.

I believe there were a few specific episodes, off the top of my head, I can't quite remember them, especially since it's been a while since I've been using Twitter as much as I used to.

Anyone who's ever looked at Ella's account knows she's been out living her best life no where near Mack.

But as it's the offseason, people are bored obsessing over anything and everything.

If and when Mack (or Will) gets into a relationship, I'm sure the internet will be the LAST to know about it.

I don't want to turn this into a gossip blog, so please feel free not to post this. I've actually posted this else as well as I was sick of seeing people melt down about it.

So, for any one those people that might be melting down right now, and I'm sure there are a few, use your critical thinking hats. They are not back together.

- Mack has been in Van all summer. We know this because we see training footage of him almost DAILY

- if you follow Ella's accounts, which many of you obviously do, you'd know that she's been in the Mid West, 1700 miles away. She's been no where near Van.

- if instagram interactions are the basis for a relationship then, yes, she likes his content. But Macks socials are literally all hockey. It's a professional account these days. He also hasn't interacted with her content since 2023 when they supposedly broke up. He has over 800k followers on Instagram. Do you really think he knows (or cares) who's liked his photo?

- his siblings relationship with her is different to his. They are not mutually exclusive.

- she also still has photos up of her ex after Mack. But as he's not a generational talent, no one bothers to care or comment about those.

- one of her captions from a recent video is literally 'embracing our single life'. Does she need to make a sign or do an interpretive dance for people to leave her alone?

- earlier on in the summer Mack was on sorority girl follow and unfollow spree.

So, if you look at all of the above, spending the summer a part and following other girls on instagram isn't exactly the actions of someone whose rekindled, or wants to rekindle, a relationship with an ex.

The girl is about to head to Europe for a hot girl summer. She's out there living her best unbothered life. Some people should get outside and do the same.

Plus, they are clearly in different phases of their lives. Their story was amazing while it lasted, and now what remains are the memories and the affection, and that's it.

Everything involving their names causes this massive drama, especially when women are involved, it's so tedious.

See? I can't wait for the season to come back so we can focus on what actually matters: seeing Will and Mack lift a Stanley Cup.
