I duont know if/when i will ever draw these out since im very Not in jet set radio brain and have so much other shit going on and even when i sketched these i wasn't sure if i wanted to draw them for real (was unsure if they were Too Much).

but since i was looking through my files and saw these and wasnt sure if they'd ever see the light of day. have my extremely rudimentary composition sketches for edgy gouji rokkaku lyric art that was going to also be like really gory. THIS IS SO EXTREMELY FUCKING REAL AND AWESOME OF YOU TBH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to go fin d this old discord message and attach it to this post but i remembered it having an actual joke. it Doesnt.

I used to follow multiple cringe blogs (this was very bad for kid me) and had this sick sort of desire to see my own art (not my old art, mind you, my THEN-CURRENT art) on there even though at the same time i wanted to impress these people. a couple times i actually DID submit my own art.

the person presently known as "yoyo" thinks of the pseudonym of yoyo and its associated personality, behavior, etc. as some kind of totally constructed identity he created, a role he's playing. BUT TBH the thing is hes just... being a somewhat more flanderized and to some extent sanitized version of himself, and while he Is successfully masking his constant overthinking and cynicism and wholly unnecessary mind games, Ultimately like. he's good at playing a reckless dumb idiot because he IS, ACTUALLY, a reckless dumb idiot. he has little to no self-awareness about this because what he mistook for self-awareness was actually just self-loathing.

Kind of guy who writes a """cringy""" trollfic, but then you read it and you see all this genuine heart and soul poured into it under a flimsy veneer of stylistic suck (which Just So Happens to mask the bits of technical skill he actually struggles with). and youre like "Are you... SURE this is actually 'ironic'?" and hes like "LMAO yeah duhhh just look at it" but internally hes trying to blow you up with his mind so he doesn't have to think about the fact this is what he really wanted to write but he can't accept it so he makes it Bad on purpose so it can't be criticized and you can't see the vulnerable core of it.

like all 3 of them would play some artist that has a big "ironic" fanbase like lil b or bladee or whatever but if asked would explain the appeal different

yoyo plays this shit in front of ppl to fuck with them, whether or not he actually enjoys the music isnt rlly the point bcuz he mostly wants to see how others react to it

mew is fascinated by art that elicits this sort of visceral "its bad" "its good" "is this even music?" reaction in people and she sees a lot of genuine artistry in making things that prod at this part of ppls brains

garam has had a Good While of being genuinely mad on the internet about this shit but at this point doesnt really care anymore. he just gives u a Look and says "what? it sounds like that on purpose" and turns the song louder n thats that
