What will happen next is the mod team will be in touch with anyone who hasn’t posted yet, and assigning pinch hitters as necessary.   All pinch hits and extensions will be due by the end of August, and we’ll be reblogging them as they come in.  Once everything is posted, will make the final list so keep watching this space!

Welcome the the Yorknew Art Auction, a reverse mini Big Bang Event.

What is the Yorknew Art Auction?

A traditional Bing Bang allows for Writers to create fics over a long period of time, and allows for artists to draw for fics of their choice. The Yorknew Art Auction happily reverses these roles, and allows Artists to create wips that will be selected by writers! The goal is for writers to create a one shot based on their chosen art pieces selected from the Auction. This SFW Event is done at a much smaller scale. The theme of this event is everything and anything Yorknew! Including characters, canon content, and the great city itself!

How many Guests can Attend the Auction? 

Due to the quick pace and small size of the Auction, currently there will be 45 applicants 

*15 Artists 

*30 Writers

If there is a significant amount of interest in this event, the Guest number may increase. Writers are able to sign up as pinch hitters and receive ongoing wips from their Artist 

This event is first come first serve. Those who are not invited to the Auction will be placed onto a waiting list until a spot opens. Thank you for your understanding.

The time has come- @hxhbb2021 time!! This year I had the joy of drawing a few snapshots for @geeky-afakasi ‘s HxH/Demon Slayer crossover fic, King of Wisteria, Blade of Kokoriko!

Geeky’s characterizations of the HxH cast, especially Komugi, are so endearing, and it’s a treat to see how they in the KnY setting! I haven’t seen KnY yet, but even so I thoroughly enjoyed this first chapter!) Demon hunter Komugi is so cool! ( 070)9

Marshal x Spy: A Merukomu Fanzine Interest Check

Hello! Marshal x Spy: A Merukomu Fanzine will be a collaborative project focusing on Meruem and Komugi from Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter series.

Inspired by community members of the Merukomu Madness server, this zine will feature different AUs including: - Mafia with Human Meruem (the first AU made collectively by the server) - Magical Girl Komugi - Many more!

The overall goal is to create illustrations, writing and physical collectibles all highlighting and celebrating the love between Meruem and Komugi across multiple universes!
