This is a blog where I post daily pictures of my cat Cleo!
The reason for this blog is to encourage me to take more photos of Cleo here because I realised I've never take enough and unfortunately, the reality is, she's is getting old so I'd like to take more photos of her to keep as many memories of her as possible <2
Some information about this absolute baby;
Cleo is around 8 years old.
She can be very feisty (AKA, she's a female cat)
Her birthday is at some point in early October
She's a Tabby cat.
And some backstory on how we acquired such a baba;
On the 14 or 15th of October 2017, just before a massive storm, my great auntie called my mam asking if she can come over and deal with something. Me and my sister went as well.
When we arrived, we were told that a cat had given birth to a litter of kittens under some shrubbery in her back garden and asked if we could give them a safe home thats not in her garden and away from the storm.
And so, little old me was sent out on a mission, collect as many of the, about 5 i would say, kittens as possible. I went out under the bush, and tried to grab the kittens. The mother had ran of and soon the little ones followed. Except for 1. This one was lying on the ground and in all honesty I thought it was dead until it let out a tiny cry.
I picked it up and brought it inside where my mam found ticks all over its body, and its eyes sealed shut with gunk. After we cleaned it up as much as we could, my mam texted my dad asking, and i quote;
Mam- "On a scale of 1-10, how happy would you be if we brought home a kitten?"
Dad - "Do not bring home another kitten (name)"
Well we brought home a kitten and we named her, you guessed it, Cleo!! We got her vaccinated, neutered and treated for the fleas and ticks at the vets and shes been healthy ever since!
