I chose to sign this petition because I support the Muslim’s right to wear their veil. The concern raised in this petition goes beyond the hijab. Since the hijab is a symbol of respect for Muslim women, as well as everyone else's fundamental constitutional right to practice their religion as guaranteed by the Philippine Constitution, the supreme law of the land, this is also about discrimination against human dignity.
