ELLE Korea: in an era where singles and EPs are flooding the market, Chaeyoung spoke about her first full-length solo album, Lil Fantasy Vol. 1, a nine-track record:

"Even if I could go back, I don't think I'd change my decision to release a full-length album. I didn't want to put out an EP that simply met the minimum track count just because I was short on time. This album is my first introduction to the world. It's like saying, 'This is who I really am. This is the kind of music I love, and this is the color of my inner world. It's a deeply personal confession."

ELLE Korea: What's it been like dedicating your life entirely to being a singer?

"I honestly love it. Getting to create the music I love, perform, and be supported unconditionally by fans is such a rare blessing. Every now and then, I imagine what my life would have looked like if I hadn't become a singer. I think there's a good chance I'd be living overseas."
