Today I was taught two new games, Vinhos and Thurn und Taxis. Enjoyed both, especially Vinhos - a long but elegant game (in terms of both visual and gameplay design).

Things starting to get a bit tense in A Game Of Thrones the Board Game. In the end, the Lannisters sneaked a victory and Starks were left rueing a wasted chance for victory with a poorly supported attack in the south.

Lords of Waterdeep - a solid worker placement game from Wizards of the Coast.

Am patiently waiting for these Kickstarter rewards to arrive in 2017…

Freshly opened Alien Frontiers Big Box edition. Loving the colony tokens!

New York 1901 - a simple to learn, fun to play, gorgeous looking game. Think Tetris crossed with Ticket to Ride.

Tiny Epic Western - the latest release from Gamelyn Games. First time to the table tonight - love the theme, the artwork and components are great and the gameplay was lots of fun.

Islebound - a cool new game from Red Raven Games. Just received my Kickstarter pledge - this was the smoothest campaign I’ve backed so far, actually delivered early! The artwork and all the components are beautiful.

Firefly the Board Game - it's big and it's shiny!

Things come to a head in a Game of Thrones the Board Game. It's going to be a bloodbath!

Five Tribes, one of last year's favourites, is the first game off the shelf in 2016.
