          “They do have a name. But, not that I think you would do anything, I don’t want to involve them. I feel as though if I was to throw their name out there, that they would find out somehow and feel that guilt,” Alexander sighed. There was no way for Alexander to say that the person that had his heart was sitting with him at this table. “I don’t want to forget him, I just don’t want for him to feel like I gave my life for him instead of having the surgery. When, in reality, I can’t have it,” he sighed, stealing one of the fries off of the other’s lap. “Because that’s the kind of person he is. He’s kind, with a big heart, and very sensitive.”

         “Someone that I’m fairly close to. I didn’t expect to love them, much less at first sight, but here we are. I think that’s about as sappy as I’m ever going to get, so enjoy it,” Alexander said with a small smile. “But I would get the surgery if I was able to. But I’m not, because apparently my health is super shitty. So the odds of me surviving the surgery are about the same as me surviving this illness. So, it’s not worth the risk,” he explained. Also, if he were to have surgery, it would probably release the secret that werewolves existed. Which wasn’t particularly high on his list of things to do. He was silent for a moment. “I would do the surgery because I wouldn’t want him to hurt when he found out about this all. Because it isn’t his fault.”

          “I am not able to have the surgery due to my health,” he explained, a wry smile showing up on his lips as he continued to eat. The pain was unbearable at times, he felt like he was being torn open from the inside. The only reason that he was probably still alive was that he was a werewolf, and his body could withstand surprising traumas. “So, it’s not really an option for me. And I’m not exactly seeing it as an option for it to just go away on it’s own. So, all I can really do is hope for the best, no matter how unlikely it is,” he paused slightly as he looked at the other staring at the thorn. “It’s always been roses though. I’m not a mushy person so you can imagine how surprised I was to learn what lavender flowers meant.”

The smell wasn’t what drew Kojin to the flower shop, though he wasn’t complaining when the different aromas hit his nose as soon as he stepped inside. The different colors in the flowers had made him leave the snack stand in favor for the shop. He huffed, trying to figure out what he was even doing in there. He didn’t have a lover to gift them, nor did he know anything about planting or taking care of flowers.

Catching sight of an employee, he walked up to him with a sigh. “I guess I’m here to buy some flowers. Oh!” He clapped, and a smile spread across his lips. “Could you make me one of those flower crowns that celebrities always have? Those are pretty. I want every color in there, please and thanks.” He beamed at the shop employee, elbows on the counter and chin resting in his hands as he waited expectantly.
