Did my budget in an hour. π€
I took a nap earlier & boy, did I need that nap. Woke up around 7p & headed out to do groceries around 8p, which is super late.
But it was a short list. I only had $110 left to spend.
Went over by $12, but that's ok.
I did have extra debt I acquired this last pay period, mainly a birthday brunch I treated my old coworker to & pill pockets for Angel's medications.
But even w/that extra debt, it looks like I'm barely sliding through this next paycheck, which I am grateful for.
It hits my bank Monday, so it was essential that I plan tonight my spending for the next 2 weeks.
I am literally living paycheck to paycheck. I do have a small emergency fund stashed away, but nowhere near where it needs to be.
Still, even w/that extra debt, I am able to set aside money to:
1) Finally get my last wisdom tooth taken out π
2) Save the 3rd installment towards my dad's trip to pick up my Grandpa in Nov (a surprise I am waiting to tell my dad about - it will be free thanks to my gift to him π)
3) Save towards the dog walker for my Nov trip, groomers, dog food, car insurance, health insurance, utilities bill + cell phone installments
4) Set $112 towards Archie's vet visit for his wart. I will have half of the $456 estimate saved! π₯³
5) Set aside the cost of father's day gift + brunch
Also will be able to set aside half of the cost of the dog bed I've been visiting at HomeGoods for the last month π₯Ή
I'm planning to buy it this week bc I can't afford to let someone else take it, but I'm gonna charge it on my credit card & leave the charge on there until my next check bc it will be paid in full before the statement closes π
They also wanna put me on Ozempic but it will depend on the cost.
I'm supposed to renew my Kaiser financial assistance at the end of this month, but if I am not approved, starting in August, I will have to pay full cost of all my medications, which is a lot so idk.
I'm planning to swinging by the pharmacy tomorrow to see what the estimate is. I planned to save $25 this paycheck towards Ozempic but if it's more than $50/month, I can't do it.
After all of those expenses, I am left w/$58.95, which is my emergency money if groceries are over the $300 budget I gave myself for the next 2 weeks πͺ
My massage, pedicure, energy cleansing, car wash & donation to candidates will have to wait again π
