  “Wait... really??”

  Well, now hasn’t she made herself out to be quite the fool. Though, in Mari’s defense, she never cared for children nor how smart they actually are! Which makes it okay!

   “And what’s your friend’s name?”

   Yesss, good job Genie! She’s managing to hold her ground! She’s nothing but determined to protect Themis from any…further incidents and corruption.

   The Goddess of Law knows there’s been enough already.

   “You do realize I’m standing outside the school, as I pointed out. Did it not cross your mind that I could be here for a reason?”

  Clearly annoyed, the annoyance now projecting through her voice, Marianna was starting to lose patience with this child. She’s regretting having ever stared at this girl. Look where it’s got her!

  “I don’t see how that’s any of your business...”

  Crossing her arms across her chest, she was ready for this conversation to be done. But at the same time, if she just left, then that’d give this young girl the satisfaction of winning this war.

   Oh.

   She’s suspicious AND a jerk!

   That’s okay, Genie’s a smart girl! She can totally handle this without crying! For now-

   “Cute. And I’ll let security know there’s a strange woman stalking around the premises!”

  Okay, that was crossing the line a little bit, girlie. Elementary students sure are getting ballsy with their superiors.  Kids these days, no control... A nerve was struck.

   “Ummm, I go here. This is my school. Which is why I am standing outside of it, wearing it’s uniform.”

   She turns back around, only to gesture to the little embroidered symbol on her chest.

  First of all: easy on the snarky comments. Fuck...

  Second of all: No. There’s no way she’s attending a law school. Even if she is an adult and just looks young for her age, there’s no way she’s in law school. Maybe prelaw would be more believable.
