I would just like to preface this by saying that not all caregivers you find on here are bad. There are a select few of us who are wonderful. But more often than not the daddies you find online are not going to be good people.

Finding a partner in real life is difficult, finding a partner who is a caregiver is even harder.

I would suggest finding someone in real life that you trust and connect with first. Get to know them. Form a relationship with them.

Do you have stuffies or little gear?

Once you feel comfortable enough slowly introduce them to your little side. Show them your stuffies and maybe even tell them their names. Or just simply have your stuffies with you when you are with your partner. I have even heard stories of littles telling me they started by acting little around their potential caregivers. Go at your own pace.

Find a time to have a conversation with them about your regression.

Gather up some information that you can show them once you feel they are ready. You may have to educate them on nonsexual regression. Most people who are not in this community on tumblr will immediately associate your regression with the k1nk side of this type of relationship. If they start talking about that gently tell them that your regression is nonsexual.

Explain to them what it means for you to be a little. Explain to them if you use it to cope with day to day life. Do you have little activities? Tell them about how you regress. Coloring pictures, watching Disney movies, taking naps with your stuffies, having your food cut up into small pieces.

Allow them some time to process what you have told them.

They may not be okay with it at first. They may not fully understand in the beginning. Allow them to ask you questions and voice any concerns to you in regards to your relationship. They may not ever be okay with them being your caregiver. If you make them feel trapped into it they may end up breaking up with you. You cannot force them to do something they are uncomfortable with.

Be prepared for them to say no.

If they say no give them some time and maybe try to ask them if they would be okay with you having a platonic caregiver. They may not be okay with that and that is fine. There are plenty of ways to still be a little without a caregiver for a partner.

This is a side note for underage littles. Please be careful finding a caregiver online. If a daddy wants a relationship with you that is over 18 please do not respond to them. I would immediately block them. There are a lot of bad people out there who only want to use you for their own gain. They do not care about you. They will try to force you to do things you are not comfortable with. You are not obligated to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
