So I made a thing…

AH+: Your second solo album will be releasing. How do you feel? MOONBYUL: I’m excited. The things I dreamed of are becoming a reality. There is a part of this album that the general public may take in refreshingly. I feel like they may be surprised like, ‘A female idol doing this genre?’

AH+: Along with Moonbyul, I think MAMAMOO has shown what they want to say on the stage. In that aspect, I got the impression of an artist. MOONBYUL: Unless you’re solo, it’s difficult delivering my words in a group. But, as MAMAMOO, we’ve been able to consistently show the music we want to do, diversity, and our words. The members opinions are reflected even in [non-title] songs, and we can include each of our lives. I really like that.

AH+: The four members lives are each different. The point of view that you see the world will also be different. I feel like it would be difficult gathering different people’s point of views into one voice.  MOONBYUL: It’s really difficult. We’re a group whose opinions converge well, but it was really hard to do at first. In the past, we clashed a lot. Wondering, 'why aren’t they listening to me, are my thoughts not that good?’. We fought a lot, too. While MAMAMOO developed, the members became close. Now, we all know who likes what.

AH+: How do you solve things when you clash?  MOONBYUL: We speak honestly. If there’s a problem, we don’t try to avoid it and hit it head on. If you start avoiding things, there’s no end to it. Everyone just gets stressed. And the team becomes distant. The reason MAMAMOO’s able to last a long time is thanks to us talking a lot.
