And then there’s Wei Wuxian, Disaster Queer Extraordinaire, who experiences quiet boredom as near-physical agony, pokes desperately at stone walls just to get a reaction from something in his environment, can recite obscure poetry word-perfect but can’t remember the names or faces of people he’s met several times as recently as last week, spends half his life careening between terrible reflex decisions that Made Sense At The Time, cannot keep his mouth shut in literally any situation no matter how formal or dangerous, makes jokes out of things that are important to him because he can’t figure out how to call them important in a way that’s good enough, has totally never experienced rejection-sensitive dysphoria ever in his existence, surely, and who cannot sit upright like a normal human to save his life.
