Omg guys!!
meaningful first date ideas based on your favorite musical
Anastasia: attending a period fair in costume, slipping into the crowd and pretending to be somebody and nobody all at once.
The Bandâs Visit: visiting an abandoned place and watching how the light and shadows move as the hours pass.
The Book of Mormon: driving on the freeway, rolling down the windows, and screaming cathartically.
Dear Evan Hansen: sitting in your living room after an exhausting day out, the pizza box empty and the TV quiet in the background, talking about favorite memories that seem like a very long time ago.
Falsettos: quietly discussing movies, politics, and the future over take-out and supermarket ice cream.
Hamilton: grabbing a quick meal before a protest, both of you buzzing with restless energy.
Les MisĂŠrables:Â a long walk through bookstores and winding streets and ice cream shops that ends with both of you hopelessly lost and terribly exhausted, but happy.
Les MisÊrables #2: running into each other again and again in a series of increasingly improbable and embarrassing coincidences until the day when one of you finally decides that you must be on a date, given how awkward and inevitable this all feels.
Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812: going to a thrift store, giggling over weird shoes and trying on fantastic outfits like children playing dress-up.
Newsies: a long conversation on the steps outside a party, talking about places youâve never been and stories you havenât written.
Next to Normal: riding the bus together to the very last stop, pretending for just a few hours that youâre both running away for good.
The Phantom of the Opera: an afternoon at the museum, having deep conversations in hushed voices.
Tuck Everlasting: going on a spontaneous adventure in the city, trading dares and wild dreams for the future.
Waitress: not necessarily a date, but a phone call that goes on for hours and hours as you sort through old receipts, organize your bookshelf, change your bedsheets, water your plants, and cook a late dinner for one.
optimal places to listen to these musicals
otherwise known as: âbut theater is meant to be experienced live!!!â is a myth invented by capitalism
Anastasia: a sleepover at your best friendâs homeÂ
The Bandâs Visit: in a silent house with the lights off and the curtains drawn
Be More Chill: in the safety of your room after an exhausting school dayÂ
The Book of Mormon: not in public
Dear Evan Hansen: a long drive home
Falsettos: walking around a city you donât know well; it feels mundane and surreal at the same time
Hamilton: with friends on a road trip, yelling along and tripping over the words and laughing
The Last Five Years: stuck in an elevator with a stranger
Les MisĂŠrables: anywhere with a lot of durable furniture
Little Shop of Horrors: downtown, where the folks are broke
Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812: in an abandoned parking lot at 2 AM with Monster Energy in the cupholder and giant floodlights in the distance. And a hamster running on a wheel in shotgun just for fun.
Newsies: on the treadmill
Next to Normal: riding the subway, absorbing each word like youâre listening to a gripping audiobook, watching the world flicker by
The Phantom of the Opera: the shower, of course, so that you can sing along
Spring Awakening: sitting in an empty playground
Tuck Everlasting: laying in the sun, the scent of grass in the air
Waitress: returning to visit a favorite place from childhood, bracing your heart for the ways it has changed

Point of No Return Spell
Inspired by The Phantom of the Opera A simple spell to remove someoneâs mask aka to see clearly how much a person is two faced towards you. This spell is an act of the person revealing themselves.
Supplies: - a picture of the person you suspect - a cloth (or piece of paper) to lay over above the picture (or object) note: best not to use a black cloth/darker pattern cloth - black candle (and lighter/matches) - a black marker (something you can write with)
Steps: - On your altar/working space, take the picture (or object) and place it in the center of your working. - On the cloth (or paper) draw the personâs face but in glamoured manner. This is the facade they are showing you, so make it as a beautiful representation of them as you can. - On the picture of the person, make the face look twisted, deformed, distorted, ugly, whatever your heart desires. This is the true feelings they have towards you. - Once done, place the cloth over the picture - Light the black candle - Focus on the intent of this spell. Remember all the times you realized they didnât mean what they said they did. Remember all the clues you found to the person not being truthful with you. Use that pain to feed the spell and release it. - Recite the following: âPast the point of no return; No backward glances; The games weâve played till now are at an end. Past all thought of if or when; No use resisting; Abandon thought and let the dream descendâŚ.â - With a flick of your wrist, remove the cloth from the picture with haste. - Say aloud the following: âI no longer am fooled by your facade. Weâre past the point of no return. Show your true intentions you fraud! This lesson may you truly learn.â - Take whatever max has melted form your candle and place it on top of your picture, making sure to cover their disfigured face.
Keep the picture on your altar to let the energies go where they may. Once done, discard the photo as you wish. Donât give it a ââproper burialââ, treat it as trash, just like the two faced person is.

I volunteered to make a gifset for a previously dedicated Secret Santa participant who was forced to drop out this year. @dongiovannitriumphant, we havenât spoken, but Iâve now stalked your blog and have also been told that the Persian is a favorite character. I hope this set adds a bit of extra cheer to your holidays! Shoutout to @rjdaae for her thoughtfulness.Â
