over the past few yearz at least i've been chasing that feeling the internet used 2 have, where i couldn't wait 2 get on and explore the thingz i luv, now the internet feelz draining and soulless even. here's how i've been going back 2 an internet I enjoy

what does a magical internet mean 4 u? ^_^

for me it means customizable blogz (like spacehey and yes, tumblr too lol), nostalgic sites like girlsgogames, small communitiez to engage about ur interestz with, and overall placez 2 express and visualize everything that u luv <3

what's taking that away right now?

doomscrolling on insta, constantly seeing negativity and stuff on there, losing time to content I wasn't rly looking 4 in the 1st place, and also the constant access. a lot of my friendz and mutualz are on insta so i don't wanna leave but limiting my time on there helpz a lot ^_^

how 2 go back??

if ur like me and have a bad habit of doomscrolling anywayz, try tracking every minute of it, itz helped me be more conscious of the time I spend and I feel way more inclined 2 stop sooner than later. if you have a laptop or computer, try using that over ur phone whenever possible :) if you can limit ur internet 2 ur computer then it'll feel like the internet has itz own place again.

i luv sitting at my desk w my iced coffee while I work on my spacehey layout, scrolling pinterest, playing games, etc. also while listening 2 music and being dolled up ^_^ I feel like it makes the internet feel more like ur going out or something, lol. find ur fav sites and topics 2 explore, make cute lil blogs, pinterest boards and playlists, play ur fav online gamez, make it all urs!
