Arthur Havisham x Male Time Traveller! Reader

Disclaimer: This my first request so apologies if its bad. This is set in episode 10, reader is male bodied, is a time traveler and came from the 2000s. Reader may or may not be inspired by c!karl jacob's design from the dsmp🤫

CW: Compeyson, swearing, mentions of drinking/getting drunk and might be OOC? (Out of character)

Summary: After finding out that Comeyson was going to marry his sister and causing a scene which involved the two, Arthur finds himself wondering the snowy streets drunk and meets a very odd person on his way.

Arthur was a well-known man, being a Havisham he got whatever he wanted whenever he wanted so it was unownst to him what it was like to live any other way. But after his father died and gave him 10% of the brewery and gave the rest to his sister Amelia, he found himself living that exact way. With little-to no money and alot of debt ,he wandered around the snowy streets alone drunk.

Arthur swayed as he walked, nearly running into everything on the way, he knew he had to get back to the place he now called "home" but dreaded it knowing he'll get into trouble with Compeyson for causing a scene and nearly ruining all the progress they made. He didn't mean for their plan to go this far, he only wanted what he deserved and for Compeyson to seduce his sister not marry her. But that is exactly how it turned out, after getting thrown out of his own home, he stumbled around the street aimlessly.

He swayed to the left just avoiding a building but got caught by a pair of calloused hands, looking up through his drunken haze Arthur was met with an unfamiliar face.

"Woah there mate!" The man exclaimed, looking down at him. Arthur looked up at the unknown man who was wearing very unusual clothing, a long purple sweater and ripped jeans with a belt. He had watches decorating his arms, fingerless gloves and goggles on his head nothing you'd see the men wearing on a day-to-day basis.

"You alright there buddy?" The other male questioned, hoisting Arthur up to a standing position but kept his arms out stretched beside him incase he fell again. Arthur looked at him with widened eyes not knowing how to respond Was he ok? Did this stranger really need to know if he was or not? Not only that but what the hell is the stranger wearing? Arthur pursed his lips, drawing his eyes away from the man to the snowy road below him, "I'm...fine" Arthur slured in response. He wasn't lying, he was fine physically but mentally he was far from it.

The other male gave him a questioning look but decided not to dwell on it, he put his arms on either side of himself cautiously, looking over the delirious man before him. He was very clearly drunk, for what reason would he need to get so drunk for? He will never know.

"Well I'm Y/N, Y/N L/N!" The man announced, extending his hand for the other to shake. Arthur looked up at the man before directing his gaze down to his large hand, extending his own before weirdly shaking it, "Arthur....Arthur Havisham.."

"Well its very nice to meet you Arthur! Say what year is it?"

Arthur looked up at him with widened eyes, how did he not know what year it was? Arthur couldn't wrap his head around Y/N's question, he was way too drunk to be dealing with something like this. "It's...the 90th century.." he murmured out, this seemed to surprise the older man who gave him a puzzled yet surprised look in response.

"It is?" He asked more to himself, Arthur just stayed silent as the man rolled up his sweater sleeve and looked down at one of his many watches on his wrist, examining it before huffing. "Shit..." he mumbled under his breath, looking back up at the Havisham who was starting to stumble away from him, the man jogged up to him grabbing his forearm. "Wait! D'You need help getting home? You seem waaaaaayyy to drunk too walk down the streets by yourself at this time,"

"I'm f-fine thank you.." Arthur slured, attempting to rip his arm out of the man's grip but the man only gripped it tighter. "No I insist, really it's too dangerous to walk alone, you don't know how many creeps and hoods are out at this time just begging to get you alone in an alley to steal your shit," the man insisted, gesturing to Arthur's clothes with his free hand. Arthur just stayed silent trying to think but his mind was too foggy, "Okay..." he replied shakily.

The man looked pleased with this response, letting go of the other's arm. "Well, lead the way handsome!" The man declared happily, seeming to not care for the weird looks he got from the people passing by the two. Arthur however seemed quite stunned by the other's declaration, looking around at all the people staring. Even in his drunken state Arthur still seemed to care a very big deal about his reputation, not like it could get any worse from his performance earlier. Y/N noticed a slight rose colour appear on the other's cheeks but brushed it off as him just being drunk.

Arthur gave Y/N a stern look, putting his pointer finger up to his lips in a shushing motion before sharply turning around to walk back to where he stayed only to stumble, his head feeling like its been hit by a hammer repeatedly. However Y/N caught Arthur before he could fall onto the cold, snow covered road and pulled him to his side, smiling brightly down at the man. Arthur just turned away and began to stumble to his place with Y/N following him happily like a golden retriever.
