He giggled, at least they were willing to give him even just something small for free. It was dumb that he threw all his money out of the window though.. Maybe he can show up here at a later point again. He’d try  !

Maybe he was just too curious about everything …

They let out a small sigh sure they were used to such judgments especially in this town but they’d wish the people here would at least give the shop a chance or at least do a little research before stumbling in.

“Yeah most people think this is some devil worshipping stuff considering a have a few tings from my mom in the back like I said. It also doesn’t help that most of the stuff that I do have that’s cryptid related is for the Wendigo.”

They gesture a little at the counter a few small trinkets lining the wooden counter. Best to focus on selling stuff rather than negative conversation. They doubted this guy wanted to hear about that anyways.

“  Really?  “

He smiled brightly as they explained what he had in stock. Keeping his gaze on all the things, Sonic looked around. It really was interesting. He wished he had more money for souvenirs. But alas, he was dumb and spent all his money immediately. Just window shopping was okay though, wasn’t it?

They smile just a little at the sentiment of actually wanting to buy something. It was a nice change of pace to actually have someone genuinely interested in what they were passionate about. He couldn’t exactly give out merchandise for free but maybe —

“… You don’t exactly look like the type to collect stuff about cryptids. Let me guess you got lost and went into the first shop you saw which happened to be mine.”

He chuckled a little when the other just assumed that. Yeah, he didn’t seem like he would be interested in stuff like this. But he was interested in.. pretty much everything. He was a very curious person. Fixing up his jacket, he kept his gaze on them. Though, it was a nice change to not get recognized the moment he walked into somewhere.

“Ah that makes sense. Well, you’re free to look around if you’d like. There’s a bunch of stuff related to cryptids all around the shop and a few Native American trinkets my Dad made me put in here. We’ve also got voodoo stuff too - my mom’s idea - in the back.”
