Facing the reality is somehow good. You just need to be strong and courageous. You can fight your fears and declare victory in the battle. But, you’re the one to choose how to do it or if you’re gonna do it. Just like how you handle all the happenings in your school life. As a student or a human being, do you choose to survive or to live?

School is a place for opportunity, development, and change. It pertains to an educational community that offers learning to the students (Gutierrez, 2015) Somehow, it portraits a person’s life and, also, it has a big role to their lives. It leads us either to glow or explode.

Those moments are my turning points. This school pushes me to face the reality and makes me wanna go out in my comfort zone. I was at the bottom and comfortable with it. But, through the hard work, it unconsciously bring me to the place I never expected to be. I choose to fight my laziness. I put my focus only to my goals/objectives. I endure the struggles and pain, and fight the battles right away. I ask Him, every time, to grant us strength to change the things we can, courage to accept the things we can’t, and the wisdom to know the difference.

A person’s life is like a cup. Its purpose is to be filled, or to store or give. Sometimes, it stands firm, upright. Sometimes, it falls that it can’t stand on its own, upside down. My experience here at Smasn has ups and downs. I keep on doing mistakes and sins intentionally and unintentionally. But, this school teaches me to have faith, excellence, and service. Even, sometimes, its flaw was completely expose.

I was used to only survive every day. I never liked mornings and nights. But, throughout my journey here in SMASN, I somehow became strong and courageous. I chose to live. It still up to you on how to deal with all the rejections, mistakes, and failures that is coming in your way. All I can say is, this school doesn’t just teaches us to be a logical and critical thinkers but, also, to be strong and courageous person.

Girls turning 18 is a privilege. Every girl is so excited every time they’re turning 18. Making it so special and memorable. Making it extraordinary and unique. They say that it’s the turning point to adulthood. I don’t really wanna get old because the number of responsibilities are multiplying. I know it’s the reality and I don’t want to face it. Well..... not all the time though. It’s just hard. I can’t handle many responsibilities at once.

Anyways, for me, you can make all your birthdays special, unique, and extraordinary. Every birthday is a turning point of our lives. Just look deeper in it and you’ll understand my point. Hahaha.

If I’m turning 18, I would like to have 18 burgers, 18 hot wings, and 18 chocolates (I like snickers especially the ice cream bar even though I’ve never tastes it before. I would like to have one.)

In life, we really do encounter such things. Although i can’t really say that all of it are the happiest. As I have observed, the disappointing ones are a bit too complicated but sooner, we realize that it teaches us valuable lessons. We all know that there are also a few that we regret doing. The best example for that is when almost everyone in the classroom witnessed you cry because of something and up until today when you look back and remember that one thing, it would make you feel bothered and ashamed. Another one is about the things we regret not doing. That one time you had the chance to finally prove everyone what you’re capable of, but instead you started to think of negative thoughts until the moment you missed the chance of doing it. To sum up all of my realizations about things, I learned that life will never be a wish granting factory in which you could manipulate things and turn into the way you want it to be. It is not all about the wrong or the right choices in life. It’s all about the choices that can lead you into all the bright choices.

Choosing a school to study for senior high school can be hard. There were so many choices to consider and comments from people to keep in mind and a nearby Catholic academy won’t be everybody’s first choice. So why did I choose St. Mary’s Academy of Sto. Niño?

St. Mary’s Academy looks promising and now has been a home for me for the past few months and even up until now. It’s disciplined environment together with the religiosity made it a perfect place for me to study. The teaching strategies of each teacher is unique and effective, proving that despite being located in a province, this academy is not being left behind. The events that were organized to be a breather from the tiresome school works showcases each student’s talent and ability, and everyone’s unity and friendship. Students, on the other hand, are different from each other, some who likes trouble, some who’s active in every event, some who prefer to blend in with the crowd, and some who choose to stand out but there’s one thing they all share and that is respect. Taught and instilled in our minds ever since we step foot on this academy is respect which we were told to bring whenever and wherever we go.

To sum it all up, SMASN wasn’t all that bad just like what I heard before enrolling. To see is to believe after all, right?

This shows the four girls being happy and cute in the picture. The two of them are wearing a daily uniform while the other two are in their P.E. uniform. The girl from the left side is Karyl. She’s the one with a small eyes because she’s a half Filipino and half Japanese. The next girl with eyeglasses is Athena who was holding the camera. Next from Athena is Mariz, the youngest of them all. And the last one with dimples is Alek. Among theses girls, three if them did a pabebe smile with a peace sign pose, and Alek just simple smiled. Athena has big eyes while Karyl has the smallest one. They are all iin grade 11 senior high school student at St. Mary’s Academy of Sto. Niño who are enjoying their first group picture. 

This boy has a dark messy hair. It doesn't seem to agree on which side it was suppose to go. His jawline is angular that makes his face handsome in a mysterious way. When he smiles, four, no six dimples appear on his cheeks. Three on either side. Those are is asset. That facial disorder fits perfectly on him. His nose is quite foreign. His nose bridge is wide and edgy that almost resembles the greek god Hephaestus. His eyes were the same color as spruce. A darker shade of brown. Just by looking at his eyes, you can already tell his emotions. His eyes are like two deep pools that you might drown in of you stare at him for too long. And his lips. His lips are chapped but looks soft at the same time. It's color is similar to a faded pink rose on the brink of blooming. In other words, he is a rose-colored boy. His face makes you think of warmth and vapor in the middle of summer.

Face Description

She has a long jet black hair that falls just above her waist. The pair of her dark black eyes just like her hair flashed a shy, timid smile. Her charcoal-like orbs reflected the liveliness of their owner. These orbs that can immediately see right through anyone; these orbs that were as sharp as a hawk’s; these orbs that smile along with her lips. Her lips that formed into cautious, little smile were ordinary at first glance but on the second, third, n fourth, and fifth, and so on lets you have a glimpse of what kind of a person she truly is. She’s anything but plain for despite sporting a barely visible smile, and wearing the same uniform just like everyone,  she wore a crown, a crown of silky soft hair and a hidden sunshine behind those coy smiles. Her nose that complimented her features just right and her cheeks that weren’t to high and weren’t too fluffy, just enough to create a perfect shape of a girl’s face were just few of the physical characteristics that made her stunning just the way she is. Her skin that may not be as fair as other girls’ or as clear as anyone else’s was a simple mix of white and tan, not too pale and not too tan; just in between. That is Edylene J. King, the princess of Grade 11 – OLIC.

She's the sunshine even on our darkest days. Her black eyes shining with humor; her hair that frames her face perfectly; her eyebrows that she loves to sculpt perfectly; her contagious smile that will infect and change your mood immediately; her fluffy cheeks that are soft and tinted with blush. She's our ball of energy. Her wittiness literally radiating.

Her expressive eyes that shows her true emotion everytime. Her ears that are always welcome to listen to your story and her mouth that speaks the truth and gives happiness and entertainment to other people.

She has eyes that can see right through you; eyes that would touch your heart with meekness. The way her eyes wrinkles at the sides and smiles with her lips is so endearing. Her lips that are plump and right shade of pink completes her face perfectly. The glint in her eyes shows friendliness. Her lips that shows the warmth of a loving smile. Her nose that looks cute as a button and matches the shape of her face like an artist tryibg to draw their perfect idea of beauty. She is Edylene King, a good friend, daughter and student. She's our ball of bouncing sunshine.

Dreams.We all have many dreams in our life.Dreams that only us can make for ourselves to be satisfied.And every dreams starts from school.In my school,St. Mary’s Academy Of Sto.Nino they also offers taekwando trainning.

In doing our dream,we should have determination,perseverance,heart,discipline and mind for us to push ourselves to that dream.And taekwando is one of my dreams.Other says”you will just broke your bones there”.They only see what will happen in the beginning.They can’t see what is the possible result of it in the future.And SMASN taekwando thought me that if you really want to take this oppurtunity,don’t listen to others.Don’t give up easily.And they also thought me to have faith on my own self.

NOT-SO-NORMAL FAN 

 Normal people would NOT get it. Or maybe, normal people would just arch their brows and mouth the words, 

 "weirdo" or "gay." 

 By NORMAL, I mean, those people who have an ordinary lifestyle, peaceful nights, and quiet twitter timelines. 

 Those who DO NOT HYPERVENTILATE WHEN SEEING A GORGEOUS ASIAN GUY OR GIRL. 

 Of course, they wouldn't understand because they're NORMAL and not into K-POP. 

 And because multifans, like me, are kind-hearted, let's put multifandom into simple analogies... 

 MULTIFANDOM is like painting all the colors of the rainbow, tasting all the flavors of ice cream, and possibly catching ALL the viruses in the air and get bedridden. 

 where you can NEVER get out of bed.

 Technically, having a multifandom in the world of K-POP is something a fan can't help but fall into. Like, a giant hole in the ground that sucks all the gravity in you. 

 Being a multifan may sound exciting and pleasant to your twitter bio but 

TAKE NOTE: It's a TOUGH JOB. Once you take it, fulfill all the responsibilities attached to it. 

 There are a few symptoms of being a multifan (IN CASE YOU DON't KNOW OR UNAWARE OF IT:)

 • You are tempted to buy SEVENTEEN's Lightstick and WANNA ONE's too. 

 • You've just saved and downloaded MONSTA X's new album to go along with JBJ, NCT, and BIGBANG.

 • Fangirling on Running Man episodes that features SHINee, BTOB, and BTS.

 • Saved a couple (or maybe HUNDREDS?) of TWICE Nayeon's picture in your gallery which also contains ASTRO Eunwoo's, RED VELVET Irene's, and INFINITE L's pictures.

Are you a big fan of Sci-fi? Do you spend most of your time playing video games? Do you seek action, drama, romance, and suspense in one game? Then Mass Effect is the game for you. Sit back and buckle up. Here are five reasons why you should play the awesome trilogy.

1.You are the protagonist

In the game, you play as Commander Shepard. A strong-willed soldier that has been newly assigned aboard the S.S.V. Normandy. In the game, you get to create your very own Shepard. You can choose Shepard's gender, appearance, backstory, mentality, and abilities. And as you progress, you have to make choices will shape the very plot of the game. And you get to carry out your Shepard throughout the trilogy.

2.RPG

Mass Effect is a combination of awesome RPG and rich Open world novel. You get to shoot aliens and synthetics and experience galactic drama at the same time.

3.Galactic Diversity

Mass Effect has a unique group of species that screams "GALACTIC!". The game has different alien races that has it's own individual characteristics and history. Some of these races are the Krogan, Asari, Turian, Quarian, Salarian, and Prothean.

4.Dilemma

You also have the responsibility of choosing who lives and who dies. As I said, the very plot of the game depends on your choices. In some point in the game, two of Shepard's squad mates will be in the verge of dying but he can only save one of them. And that is up to you.

5.Relationships

In Mass Effect, you also get to establish relationships with various characters that will greatly affect the outcome of everything. Your Shepard can either kill a Krogan berserker or befriend him, and have a stronger ally in your squad. You can also choose to romance or friendzone an Asari. This game is all about charisma.

There are still a lot of reasons on why you should play Mass Effect. You just have to play it and discover it by yourself.

His appercane for me is angled the same way with his black puffy hair that somehow tempts me to touch it if i were alone together with him. His left cut eyebrow add more appeal to me and his mole right next to the right upperside of this nose then There’s His not-so perfect smile but can reflect many emotions and a very defined jawline his white as milk skin, perfect masculine type body and his brown eyes sometimes, when i look at him, make me speechless and make me nervous the way his muscular fit body suits light colors and blue is one of them then he has a flat nose and diamond shaped face he has a one day old mustache and beard somewhere under his chin

When Travelling

The world is a busy place. Everyday, there are tons of work getting piled up in our plates, even for us students. Stress is a typical emotion each passing day, doing school works, chasing deadlines, and preparing for upcoming tests. But just like what others say, work hard, play hard and being all tired in our own ways, we all deserve a rest. Some prefer a good sleep, or a plate of their comfort food. But if you ask me what’s the best way to unwind, I can say that it’s travelling.

Travelling can be for many reasons. Travelling for peace of mind, or for a break, to reunite with old friends and relatives. In my case, I travel for all those reasons and that is why every trip is highly anticipated. Being a student who also has other responsibilities, free days are very few even during special holidays. I only get one chance a year to go on an out of town and there are times that I miss this chance, but not this year. This year, I decided to give myself a break and a breathe of fresh air from the exasperation and familiarity.

Excited will be an understatement of what I’m feeling and I know too much can be bad. It’s been 3 years since my last visit to my mother’s hometown I once visited annually before. Just the thought of packing my things for this trip gets me hyped up, making me forget what to consider bringing and leaving behind. What I have with me doesn’t matter anyway. It is travelling that I love, the thrill of the journey, the new faces and changes in the places my eyes feast on while on the way, and of course, the comfort of finally arriving to where I’ve been longing to go to. 3 years is a very long time and honestly, I can say that I’m almost forgetting the feeling of going back that’s why I’m elated to make this finally happen.

We all deserve a break. Just like what I will be having this coming summer. Because why not? We’ve worked hard, we’ve worked good, and we’ll reward ourselves with things that will make us happy. And if you’re a person that’s into travelling like me, go ahead and spoil yourself! We all live once after all.

my eleven years here in sma did change alot and also me that change along the way its very precious to me that parts of my childhood began here and its very much a big treasure in my education and along the road its hard and makes me mad how will it take to end and now one more year am done with my k to 12 moments in and out of my school which very unknown to me how it really started but non-the less it make me happy i did here and very much i learn how to have a nice friendship and laughs along the way and falls down the isle i can never erase the word ‘regret” that always washed away in my head and turn into happiness “regrets can change to memoirs”

Our life is full of struggles, sometimes we have to lose something in order to get something but I, always choose to consider what we want or need the most. Being a teenager is a beautiful period of my life. The life of a student is a combination of joy and challenges because there are so many requirements in school that we need to fulfill, but it is also a place where things can be learned. We are somewhat entering the adult life without having to take all of the responsibilities that come as time goes by. As teenagers we take risks in trying out new things that might not be the best decisions. We, teenagers, want to explore the world and also to seek opportunities that can lead us to know more about ourselves. There are a lot of exciting things we can look forward to, in the period of being an adult but for now I just want to enjoy, also to learn everything to their so called “real world”. Being an adult can often be hard and troublesome, but I know on the end, I will overcome the disadvantages of being a teenager. Teen years are truly unforgettable.
