Item Guidelines- A Thing of the Past?
From the Custom Wear submission page
The item name and artwork must accurately portray the image worn on the avatar. For example, you may not have a cupcake item with a wig for the overlay. You may, however, have an overlay that is a cupcake held in the avatar's hand.
Let us look at some recent submissions
Long Night Blueberry Cocktail Party Pillow (+6 recolors)
Oh, I get it a pillow for your HA...nope. It's a wig.
Sweetheart Cherries (+1 Recolor)
Food for your pet? nope, also a wig,
Sweet Teddy Dessert of Passion (+3 Recolors)
Well Teddy is a type of clothing...nope. This is a wig.
Gilt Envelope (+3 Recolors)
Isn't a Gilt a pig? Maybe this meant gilded? Also it's a bra, not an envelope
Elusive Blue Dot (+1 Recolor)
Oh a laser dot. Except it's a cat.
Whipped Up Lilyberry Yogurt (+9 Recolors)
Once again, this is not a dessert it is a wig.
Oh you thought this was bento food item, ha, this is a kimono.
Year of the Snake Red Envelope
Snake Companion, not envelope.
Maybe the rule is dumb and outdated, but it should be removed then, not conveniently ignored. What do you guys feel? Is this rule being enforced?
