During the financial year of 2011, the total revenue of the Biotechnology industry was worth USD 3.6 Billion. This jump was approx 20% higher as compared to the financial year of 2010. The government is continuously introducing reforms and initiatives for the flourishment of this industry in the country. It is expected that it can garner revenue of about USD 20.78 Billion Dollars by the end of 2020.
