qué bueno tener problemas de privilegiados una vez en la vida!!!!

so i decided i was gonna quit my corporate job because i cannot handle the burnout and then on the same week they opened a position for an editor and proofreader in spanish so of course i fucking applied because it would mean getting out of data entry and working on my lane again AND keeping corporate benefits. and i got an interview and it went well. and three days later my manager calls me to tell me im on a mentoring plan for a month because i've been average 97.5% on qa instead of 98%. and im like "huh okay does this affect my current internal interviews" and she just goes "ah! yes. if they choose you i have to tell them you cant go :)" and just. bruh. god truly is testing me

update she told me to keep interviewing. i got the position. she told hr she wont let me go!!
