I finally have a deadline for the new solo exhibition. April 27, a little over 7 weeks, now it is crunch time to finish these 4 paintings. A lot of hard work but it needs to get done. Excited and Nervous but these are some of my best paintings.

2018 Goals - Sell at least 3-5 paintings/prints ( -Grow connections within the regional art world, expand to Brasil and/or Argentina -20 online publications -At least 4 exhibitions (2 exhibitions already in the works) -4 students in town workshop -Work towards exhibition in Buenos Aires and Europe for 2019 My goals for 2018 have not changed dramatically from what I was looking forward to achieve in 2017. I think that for 2018 I am more focused on my new series which I have a strong proposal and have a clearer picture on where I am looking to take the work. The work is always towards more quality exhibitions. This year is going to be my first big solo show since 2015. I have not had to present myself for a big solo show since and I am both excited and nervous. I will post more information once I have a definitive date. Even though I have 2 shows I am focus on coordinating even more shows. Being an artist is more than just creating art, there is much more coordination, writing and promoting that is not seen on the road to success.

2017 Goals (End of year review) - Sell at least 3-5 paintings/prints ( Sold 1 painting) -Grow connections within the regional art world, expand to Brasil and/or Argentina (Found few exhibition spaces in ARG) -20 online publications (11 publications) -At least 3 exhibitions (5 exhibitions) -3 printmaking workshops (Never materialized) -8 students in town workshop (2 students) -Apply to several residencies (Applied to 2 residencies, ARG and Netherlands) -Work towards exhibition in Miami, Buenos Aires and Europe for 2018 (Possibilities available for Miami and Buenos Aires, saving Europe for 2019)

Back to work. Trying to get all the paintings I left half finished and getting them done soon, as I have over a dozen images to paint. Excited to get these works rolling as I continue to apply to every exhibition I can in 2018. I should be done with this painting in a few days, and looking forward to the next one.

Revised 2017 Goals -At least 3 exhibitions (projected 3-4 exhibitions so far) -Work towards exhibition in Miami, Buenos Aires and Europe for 2018 Exhibition this year: Opia group at Bardot, Montevideo, Uruguay Museo Mazzoni, Maldonado, Uruguay Clodomiro y ronda de amigos V, San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina So far these are the three exhibition I have done, I feel that I havent achieved much, I do not say this to demean these exhibition, just that I want more. Achieve more of the goals I’ve set for myself. At the moment I am trying to set up two more exhibitions, one in Montevideo and one in Punta del este, this month will tell how those play out and for when will these shows happen. I was hoping to be further along but wasnt selected for the residency I applied too or the print exhibition. Need to keep pushing and continue to make better works, want to get to a point where my skecthes /studies are worthy of showing and now discarded. Still working on exhibiting in Miami and Buenos Aires, this month ill dedicate to reworking my solo exhibition proposal to submit to spaces back home. Plus work on group exhibition proposal with friends which ever comes first ill be happy to go and talk about my work in person. Network to have a chance to do more shows.
