Why?
Why do I have to afraid walking on the streets in my own country? In the past 48 hours, there were more than 8 terror attacks here in Israel. It have to be stopped. How many people will have to die before we could walk in the streets safely? Reblog this post so people will be aware for what’s happening here
Why do you have to feel afraid? Because your country continues to carry out a long-term ethnic cleansing program against the people it occupies just miles away from your ~oh so cozy~ life. For decades and decades, Palestinians have had to continuously live under the Israeli boot, our lives frozen, family and friends killed and jailed on a regular basis, we face settler raids on a near /daily/ basis [but of course, you’ll never hear about those because you’re all too busy counting the number of stones thrown to determine how many “terrorist attacks” you’ve faced in a single day]. We have streets we can’t drive on that disconnect us from our family and friends in neighboring towns. We have a wall that is strangling us built WITHIN the “green line” that Israelis love to refer to, stealing even more of our land. We have sniper towers watching our every move dotted throughout our land, always in sight, always a reminder that we’re under constant surveillance no matter what.
My brother was arrested and harassed for having a mask he bought at a kid’s store in his car because the scum IDF accused him of plotting to carry out an attack.
I can’t enter my homeland without being interrogated for at least 8 hours each time or having my belongings trashed or stolen from me by scum Israeli broder officers.
We have our homes demolished to allow the expansion of the illegal Israeli settlements.Â
We deal with Israeli soldiers, essentially kids with guns and racism in their hearts, on a daily basis. They are an ever-present part of our lives, and we have absolutely no say in what happens to us, in the voting that takes place regarding us, nothing.
In order to go to school, we have to drive for over an hour through 4 separate checkpoints and car searches.
We go DAYS without water and sometimes DAYS without electricity as a form of either collective punishment, or because the scum Israeli settlers need more. So when they fill their swimming pools, we can’t shower or water our plants or drink.
We have our olive groves and gardens set on fire by Israelis, who face NO punishment and are instead protected by the IDF
We have homes burned, some with people still inside such as the case of the Dawabsheh family who all [all but one] were burned alive by an Israeli, who is only facing 6 months in prison for their murder…while Palestinian children who are so much as suspected of throwing stones face at least 10 YEARS in military prison.
During the last two Intifadas, any child even SUSPECTED of throwing stones would have their arms smashed by the IDF. These trained and heavily armed soldiers would chase down a child, extend their arm, and smash it in at the elbow with either kicks or large stones, breaking it. What happens when Israeli throw stones at Palestinians? Absolutely nothing, as the IDF stands by and makes sure nobody harms them.
My brothers school had all their windows shattered by Israelis throwing stones. The IDF were standing amongst the Israelis, doing absolutely nothing to stop them. What about this terrorist attack?
Why is it that when we rise and resist the absolute SHIT we have to deal with on a daily basis, shit forced upon us so you can live your lavish and comfy lives, it’s /still/ our fault?Â
As long as your country carries out a fascist, brutal military occupation, as long as your people continue to support it and justify it ~~~in the name of security~~~, as long as we live under the boot of the Israeli military, this violence WILL continue, as it is an inevitable result of any military occupation.
Do not blame the Palestinians, but instead blame your government and your society. This violence doesn’t exist in a void, and is not the result of some sort of anti-Semitism. It is the result of people being fed up with living like animals [then again, animals are treated better than Palestinians by Israel, so that’s not even a valid comparison] and lashing out in the only methods available to us.Â
Our non-violence is met with hails of Israeli gunfire
So violence is embraced and use to get the IDF scum out of our lands
So shut the fuck up about your petty “terrorist attacks” unless you’re really willing to look at the cause, which are the numerous, numerous terror attacks committed by your people and government against the Palestinians, because until those are dealt with, they simply will continue, and I don’t mean that to be threatening in any way, but simply a fact of reality and how subjugated and oppressed people respond to their occupier.
You want to talk about never feeling safe to walk out in the streets of your own country? Congratulations, you have a small hint of what it’s like to be a Palestinian.
Reblog this post so people /actually/ know what’s happening, and why.
What OP means: “We invaded your land, kicked you out of your homes, killed and imprisoned tens of thousands of you, sure our terrorist settlers and army attack you but why can’t you forget it and just do nothing.”
“How many people will have to die before we could walk in the streets safely?” damn man, I wonder when will Palestinians could be able to sleep in their homes safely.
While I agree with everything written on this post by my fellow Palestinians I’m going to point out that the op is a 14 year old kid, personally I’m just going to block them and have nothing to do with their ignorance.
14? Well nvm then. Hope people don’t start arguing with them.

au where everyone is born with a very unique tattoo on their ankle, nobody else in the world has that tattoo.
every time you fall in love with someone, their tattoo appears somewhere else on your body. (not necessarily soulmates, just who you fall in love with.)
imagine people who fall in love easily having their bodies completely covered in tattoos.
aromantics who only have their own ankle tattoo on their body.
people who have love affairs having to cover up the other secret tattoo from their spouse/partner.
a new tattoo appearing on a celebrity’s body in new photos and a very lucky fan (who had recently met the celebrity) realizing that it’s their tattoo.
elderly ladies sitting around tables in nursing homes telling the story behind each of their tattoos.
kindergartners who giggle as they look at their own ankle tattoos together and dream about the future tattoos they’ll have when they’re all grown up.
people trying their best to deface tattoos of ex-lovers who broke their hearts, but they can never go away.
just think about this, guys.
ok but when u realize you have your partners tattoo and yours never shows up on them
When you have a tattoo of an eye on ur ankle and realize you better start looking for yo nigga count olaf
