The “Lake” of Curtus

"Without the Sun, the days got colder."

As to no one's surprise, our star provides not only light, but also the very important warmth. So I had an idea for AU that with the Sun's shatter, world slowly cooled down, with the Niko arriving into a dark, cold snowy desert. Fortunately, the Sun that Niko gets provides them with warmth, helping them not to freeze immediately.

Barrens: while being a geothermal zone, it's still a cold and air polluted wasteland, with small occasional snow. The lake is frozen over and is no longer traversible by rowbot and can only be traversed on the safe path illuminated by lights.(showcased :3)

Glen: A colder area, with thick and hard to traverse thick snow layer. Glenfolk have to keep themselves warm with help of oil lamps inside homes. Most have moved inside ruins for the protection.
