The soft touch of her lips against his felt like nothing more than his own mind conjuring her touch. Like he had imagined her there. It carried with it though, a reassurance for him, something to ease his worry and fear. His hand lightly caressed her cheek before she moved from him. “Your just as screwed up as I then.” He teased with a gentle chuckle as he veered back onto the road.
His words brought a small laugh from her as she gave him a roll of her eyes. “Sweetheart, you have no idea how screwed up I am,” she murmured teasingly. Licking her lips, she placed her hand on his thigh as she raised an eyebrow. “So, what’s the plan that we have everything figured out between us for now?”
He couldn’t help laugh. Not at her but rather at what she said and how she said it. Like he was supposed to care for whatever reason on how screwed up she was. “I don’t care Tal, I love you. You couldn’t be the most screwed person in the city and I’d still love you.” Maybe a cheese ball thing to say but it was the truth. At her question, Aiden shrugged. “I’m going to let you decide.” He murmured in response. He had suggested they go pester Stan at the ol’ water tower, a prime mobster hang out, but he though maybe she preferred something different.
His words caused her to just stare at him with confusion for a moment. Did he really just say the l word to her? "Well, good to know that you love me Mr. Future Mob Boss," she murmured teasingly before giving him a small shrug of her shoulders. "I'm honestly up for anything."
