“So you figure out why she’s been ignoring us” Yolanda appears next to Baran. They just got down assessing a trauma when Yolanda finally (she’s been waiting for it) got called to consulate.

Fortunately, for her the attending was Narren and it gave her a chance to talk to her about their current situation.

“No, she has been really short with me and every time I try to talk to her she hurries to a patient” Baran sighs. She has been trying to get a read out of Trinity since this morning but with how busy the hospital gets it's been proven hard.

“She was fine last morning what could have possibly gone wrong” Yolanda questioned, yesterday both her and Baran had work while Trinity had a day off and that means a whole day of possibilities of anything that could have happened to cause Trinity to be in a mood.

She tried thinking of last night but she was too tired to even remember what she did and was operating on auto pilot mode so did she say or do something that upset her girl. She couldn’t recall.

“I asked Whitaker if anything happened when Trinity got some of her things at their apartment yesterday but he said that Trinity seems fine to him” Baran recalls.

“Trinity seeming fine can mean a lot of things" Yolanda points out.

Their convo was cut short when Baran got pulled into a trauma and Yolanda got paged to the OR but their whole convo didn’t go unheard.

Princess made her way straight to Perlah “pssst may na kwento ba sayo si Santos?”

(did santos told you anything lately?)

Perlah looked confused but intrigued. “Wala naman, Bakit? Ano chismis?”

(Not really, Why? What’s the gossip?)

“Ganito kasi. Yung dalawa narinig ko kanina para ba mga ewan, siguro nagtatampo yung isa jan”

(It’s like this. Those two I heard just now acting weird, I’m certain the other one is upset)

This cause Perlah to perk up “Ano kaya?, Mga gawa ka tayo betting board” (Wonder what it is?, let’s make a beating board)

“You know I can hear you both” Both nurse turn around to see an unamused Trinity across the station.

Both nurses look at each with an amusing look and quickly approach Santos.

“So bakit ka niya mga tatampo sa dalawa?” Princess asked. (So why are you sulking at the two?)

“Sino nga tatampo? hindi ako nagtatampo” Trinity stress (who’s sulking? i’m not sulking)

“weh, hindi nya”

Trinity got up and quickly walk out both woman look with amusement and then at each other both in agreement that Trinity was clearly upset so they’re going to meddle because Trinity was almost like a younger sister to them their bunso and she also reminded them of their nieces so if the girl was upset because her girlfriends did something they’re not going to stay out of it.

So it was decided princess was gonna talk to Baran and Perlah is going to pester Trinity for more information.

“So trouble in paradise” Princess said out of nowhere as she sat beside Baran who was charting.

Baran rise an eyebrow she was not one to gossip at work nor talk about her relationship while working

but the way Princess was looking at her….

Baran sighs “You know I should really do something about the gossip mill around here”

“Oh please, I know you love it when Trinity relays everything to you.

“Well as attending you gotta to know things”

“Sure” Princess says “So what going on?”

“I don’t know? it’s Trinity” Baran paused

“She’s seems upset” Baran continued.

“What did you two do?” Princess ask with no accusation tone just a genuine question although Baran could tell that she was slightly amused by all of this.

Baran didn’t answer; she wasn’t sure what she did or didn’t do.

“She’s tampo-ing ok”

“Tampoing?” Baran echoed.

“Tampo it’s tagalog she’s upset because you two did something”

“Well how are we supposed to know and make it up to here if she won’t tell us?” Baran asked

“You don’t have to know, you just have to suyo and lambing her”

“I’m not following”

“Just do things she’ll love, make her favourite meal, pamper her, be more touchy” Princess began to list.

Baran was about to say something.

“Not like that but it could work too but maybe a bit later when everything is well” Princess interrupted her before she could ask.

“Just be affectionate and wait for her to fold, usually it’s probably something really silly” Princess says just right before she got pulled to see a patient. Which gave Baran a moment to think.

“Wait? So how are we supposed to make it up to here? When we don’t know what we did wrong or even know if we did something wrong?” Baran just told Yolanda what Princess told her and understandably she’s a little confused.

“What if? she upset cause Whitaker ate all her avocados again”

“Trust me if it’s Whitaker we would know about it and Princess was sure about it”

“So what? Do we just kiss her and feed her? Yolanda asks with speculation.

Baran nods

“That seems easy? Yolanda said unsure.

It is, but sometimes it’s the easiest one that gets the job done.

anyways can you guess why trinity is upset

Ok before you read i have a few notes and things i have to share you can skip this but i appreciate it if you read it.

I was debating if i wanted to make this realistic with real teams and real players and real structure on how the game works and knew it would be harder since i’ll be scared to make a mistake or make other leagues feel left out (i know it’s weird)

but then i realise this is a fictional world and MY fictional world i could literally do anything i want and make my own structure and everything and i think it will easier for people who don’t watch the sports to read too

so here it is

Yolanda wasn’t really expecting anything for the match against San Francisco Rush , The opposing team was at the bottom of the table and her team was leading. If she was being honest she shouldn’t even be playing against such a shitty side and should have just rested for the next match against a tougher and better team but the management from the office had told the head coach that “Garcia has to play! People pay just to see her!”

So she was playing.

It was almost halftime and somehow this shitty team that lost all their games last season and hasn’t won this season granted that the season just started was actually going well against them both Yolanda didn’t shiver her timbers though as she knew her team weren’t really trying that much and are just waiting for the inevitable for which Garcia scores in the second half or even before that if she could get a chance.

It was nearing it, added-time had just been added. She had 5 minutes to do some magic and give some fans something before the end of the first half they came here to watch her and she was going to give them something.

And then finally the ball lands on her feet from a pass from Walsh at their half and she immediately turns and dribbles the ball weaving through opponents and as she was nearing the box and calculating where, when and how she’s going to shoot the ball just disappeared from her. She looked around to see what had happened when she saw everyone running further away towards their goal where a Rush Player scored a banger from outside the box and she stood there frozen, not sure what had just happened.

The stadium fell to silence a team that hasn’t conceded in their last 10 games just let an underperforming team score. Embarrassing.

She watches as the Rush players celebrate and she narrowed her eyes at the goal scorer. She looked young and new, She didn’t recognise her as definitely a rookie and then she saw the name and number.

“Who the fuck is Santos?!” She angrily slap her locker shut. It was halftime and the teams had returned to their respective locker rooms to freshen up and reevaluate.

“The rookie from UCLA” Ellis replied all casually “They went championship for four years straight with her, it was a big thing” she added.

“You didn’t hear?” Ellis said in a condescending way but she also has a way to make her tone not sound like it. Yolanda ignore it how the hell was she supposed to know she doesn't keep up with news like that

“Ahh so beginner's luck” She smirks smuggly.

“I wouldn’t say that Yoli” Emery had joined them. “She’s really good, Garcia”

“Like really good,” Ellis stressed.

Yolanda rolled her eyes. Both Ellis and Emery gave each other a knowing look.

"A lot were saying that she should have just skipped college and went straight pro out of high school and I heard that she was about to but for some reason she changed her mind last minute” Ellis explained.

If she was really good, why the hell is she on that shitty team?” She asked

“Well according to my sources she had been on the Rushes Radar since she was sophomore in highschool since she’s a Bay area native and they were death set on signing her after she graduated and she was supposed to but she changed her mind last minute and promised she’ll sign with them after she got done with college”

“She promised?!” Garcia was still confused “Like she signed a contract?”

“Yeah, isn't that not allowed and illegal especially if she was a minor?” Emery asked

“Not sure about the legality of it all but she never shitty them it was more like a scouts honour and lucky for the rush Santos stayed true to her promise” Garcia didn’t know why but she felt irritated after hearing that story.

“What fuck is wrong with her?!”

“Screw scouts honour! If she’s really that good then there would have been dozens of teams at her door step asking her to sign but you’re telling me she still chose to sign with the shitty team in the league because of some promise four years ago!” At this point the whole locker room could hear her but she didn’t care.

“Hey I'm surprised too. If I were the rush office I would have thought we lost her when she chose college over us and cut our losses knowing a young talented player will choose a better team by the time she’s done with college and hey it's kinda admirable in a way you know.”

“No, it’s childish” She huffed “Did she pinky promise them too” She mockingly replied.

“Or maybe they have something against her” Emery says and both women look at her like she just grew another head.

“Emery what on earth would they have on a 19 year old at the time” Ellis looked at Emery like was about to slap the back of her head.

“Hey you don’t know” Emery shrugged like she’s half convinced that Santos has a deep dark secret and Rush would expose it if she didn’t sign with them.

“Hey who knows what her reasons are, we know she's with the Rush now and they look good with her” Ellis said as she stood up and got ready to head out in the field.

They lost the match and their winning streak. It was disappointing they couldn’t manage to equalise as the Rush had their defence on lock down

and also humiliating as fans had expected them to get an easy win.

Later that day in Yolanda's apartment she absentmindedly opened her twitter. It has become a habit she’s done after every game she loves seeing what people have to say about her game. Fans who stay loyal and applaud and defend her win or lose, analysts who would blast all of her impressive numbers, Media who report every single thing she did and didn’t do and even the haters and what bullshit excuse they come up with now.

But what she saw was Fans being disappointed and Angry, Analysts who are sharing her disappointing numbers, Media outlets and their articles and click bait headlines with her face in front and haters who are now riding this wave with new fuel in their ass making memes and mocking her.

She was about to shout her phone down when she saw the name Santos trending and without realizing it she clicked on it and saw all the positive news and tweets.

It seems like everyone on there has changed their pfp to Santos, everyone saying they’re now a fan of Santos and San Francisco Rush.

theories on why Trinity chose to go to college and what she stayed true to her promise

Baran could be close to retiring but she’s just that one player who’s that consistent and strong and your like shit she pushing 40 (she’ll be like 34 here ? maybe? idk?) and still good

i think she could be goalkeeper or maybe a CB

Yolanda could be in her prime and one the most influential players right now people come to their matches just to watch her and only her she’s really good and for this she has to be in attacking position (cause that’s where all the fame is)

and Trinity could be the new kid in the block like she played in college was really good got noticed immediately and is about to go pro (i thinking maybe a mid but you can put her anywhere and she’ll do well like you need a golie all of the sudden she’s your girl)

like i could go in any direction with this like who’ll they all be in different leagues and country also national team

i was thinking they could be all on uswnt since the story i have in mind is that there’s like bad blood with baran and yolanda and baran hasn’t been call up for a few years then she gets called back again

the for trinity who’s got called up the first time but a few weeks ago she literally beat yolanda ass in a match and yolanda is piss at that cause how is this rookie so good intercepting my passes stealing the ball she couldn’t even get a shot on target the aducity so there’s like bad blood

and worse is trinity is a big fan of baran and has been cooing at her a following her around during camp and baran just lets her cause she found it amusing of course she does

and this makes yolanda even piss off cause baran just got here again and she more focus on some rookie than training for ther friendly

(it’s basically when someone does something taht upsets you and instead of comforting it you just stay quiet but some are not quite about it all so you (i think with trinity case) she kinda just mops around and ignore the person who upset her)

and one my biggest HC is trinity easily tampo

and what one does when thier loves one is tampoing is ‘suyo’ or ‘lambing’ basically i lowkey want to write one where trinity gets tampo to Baran and Yolanda for the silliest and small reason and they’re at a lost on how to make trinity stop so princess and perlah basically have to teach them the way of suyo

and if they could be allergic to anything?are any of them a picky eater ?

I feel like Baran would definitely have a balance meal and is very serious about it (She’s a doctor, She’s a mother etc) but i think the reasons she’s serious about is cause she easily caves in with other temptation (definitely has a sweet tooth) like sometimes you just want a shitty meal and that’s okay and sometimes that small store that closes at 4 am and where all the drunk people go to sober up calls to you but now baran is definitely health conscious so she very serious when it comes to what she consumes.

I don’t think she has any allergies.

She’s definitely not a picky eater, she loves to try new food especially foods that come from her girlfriends culture and loves to learn how to cook them.

She’s not that an adventurous eater though if there’s something new on the plate she gets excited to try them and learn about the food and all that or if there’s a new restaurant that opened she’ll see their menu and think when the closes date they get a reservation but she not the one to actively seek new food out.

She definitely has influence her girlfriends to eat more healthy and have a healthy eating habit (especially Trinity) sometimes she coxes her to cook some filipino food for them (it also helps trinity yo bond more with her lola more when Trinity calls her to help her cook some of the meal especially when they don’t see each other often anymore)

With Yolanda I’m not too sure I feel like she definitely meal preps (and owns a thousands of Tupperware) and isn’t too adventurous when it comes to trying new foods she likes what she likes and she usually sticks with them like her meal preps stays the same every week (Baran and Trinity definitely have made her more adventurous when it comes to food)

I think this comes from growing up wealthy. I like to think that her family had a home chef or sorts and she’s used to her meals and school meals staying consistent and you know she’s really not used to eating new types of food.

But she’s not a picky eater in my opinion. I feel like before she takes a bite she asks what are the ingredients first and all that cause it’s just good to know.

And when it comes to allergies I don't think she is allergic to anything.

Trinity will eat anything. but not in the way you think she would. She has a weird taste bud. She’ll eat peanut butter straight from the jar because she’s too lazy to put them on bread. She has eaten noodles with rice because there's still some rice left.

I don’t think she meal preps she tries too but sometimes she just ends up throwing whatever she has.

I don’t think she’s allergic to anything

I also don’t think she’s a picky eater and is definitely down to eat anything you put down without question (Yolanda jokes that she’ll be poisoned one day with how she never questions anything) except if huckleberry cooks then she definitely will have questions (and she’s gotten food poisoned already cause he forgot to check the expiration date on the chicken)
