“NO, NO—-” zoe held up her hands with a shake of her head, “i’m more of a cat person, myself.” though this puppy was giving her puppy fever. now wanting a puppy to add onto her two cats biscuit & gravy. both felines would totally be offended by such an addition, but puppies were very CUTE. “we should find this cutie’s owner ?? if not, i think we’re going to have to split custody of this little one !!” zoe let out a giggle, really excited to help the other out. oh, puppies sure were p o w e r f u l !!

He was the most adorable thing Ella had ever seen; fluffy and so incredibly happy. Her heart whispered for her to take him with her, to keep him in her lap and affections. Alas, her stepmother would never agree. “Yes. He isn’t wearing a collar,” she noted scratching the creature’s belly, “but someone must know whom he belongs to. He is so pretty! His owner is probably worried sick!” and there was that of course, he was adorable and she already loved him, but she would never separate him from his owner. 

a shadow darkened this happy scene, breaking ella out of her puppy induced bubble. tensing, she looked up and released a sigh of relief when she noticed the person standing over her wasn’t her strict stepmother or spoiled stepsisters. 

“I am sorry! Is he yours? He was so cute and I--”

i was thinking of picking up one character but seeing as I have no impulse control, say hello to: ELLA, THE TENTH DOCTOR AND MOLLY WEASLEY II.

❝ really? ❞ violet inquired, not quite sure if the other was joking still or not. she was never good when telling if people were being sarcastic or not.  ❝ uh, game of thrones? many of my friends say that the books are great and well, i want to see if they’re telling the truth. ❞

“I am not calling your friends liars.” but... they have terrible terrible taste, “there are better books out there! Are you into fantasy? What about Lord of the Rings? The Discworld series! Oh!! You really need to read the Tiffany Aching books, they are great! Servant of the Empire? Hmm, no, the first book is really good but the second one is a mess! OH!! We just got the last book of the Inheritance Trilogy, i loved it!”

“Game of Thrones is overrated. Plus, it makes women suffer for no reason at all. They say it’s because of ‘historical accuracy’. Yeah, I know! Stupid! Now, we are supposed to accept dragons exist but common decency doesn’t? No, thank you!”  as she is ranting, Elizabeth guides Violet to the shelf where the books are located.

“Also,” she adds leaning forwards, “before a stupid fanboy corrects you, the books are technically called ‘a song of ice and fire’. Sometimes I call it game of thrones just to piss them off though! It’s fun.”

jumping slightly at the sudden voice, violet turned to see the girl.  ❝ oh, i know it won’t!! i must’ve zoned out, ❞ she admitted with a slight laugh. eyes flickering towards the back, her laughter grew at the obvious joke.  ❝ right, then i’ll make sure to steer clear of the back. ❞ sighing slightly, violet shrugged.  ❝ uh, maybe? i’m having trouble finding a book.  ❞

“ — sounds like maybe you should have             wished for some COFFEE . ”

          ‘   — what a  pity , those books sound much more  amusing .   ’   she deadpanned, her gaze still trained on the large book. an  encyclopedia , volume j, as written on the spine. sharp,  yellow  eyes turn towards the voice.   ‘   classics ; greek… latin. whatever you have.    ’

LORELAI HELD up her hands as if she were being interrogated. far more dramatic than need be. which was actually lorelai’s middle name; drama, it was something she knew well. “i don’t want to steal your coffee from you !! you’ve had your sip—– you need that bean juice to flow through your veins.” if need be, lorelai would run off to another coffee shop. or do something drastic like, gasp, buy a small coffee pot for her room. hard times called for drastic measures. the time was N O W. “i’m not going to lie to you—- i may pass out from the lack of coffee. so, let that sink in for a moment.”

          she’s not entirely sure what she’s looking for.  hence the whole  staring at the bookcase for  GOD KNOWS  how long situation.  they had such a limited supply of books on the ark.  mostly just the classics;  to kill a mockingbird,  the great gatsby,  moby-dick,  etc.  so all these  NEWER  titles didn’t really ring any bells  or  spark an interest.  –  the others voice pulled her out of her own little world,  head quickly shooting to face the girl.   ‘ oh,  i,  uh – ’   a small pause.   ‘ any recs? ’   smooth.
